Chapter 56: Leaving Again

"What was that you did out there!?" Lalisa asked as she flung his hands away from her.

She had known that this big bad wolf was dangerous but she didn't expect him to be that reckless. After all, no one could imagine the thoughts that would be running through people's mind at the moment by now.

"Relax, there's nothing wrong with being my family's little girl." Jungkook said self righteously and then raised his hands and used it to pat her head gently.

His action seemed to only make her more dissatisfied as she shot him a threatening glare.

"With my family name and your name, what exactly do you want people to think by calling me your family's little girl. Jeon. Jung. kook!" She called out angrily, even stamping her foot in the process and the young master looked at her one more time before striding forward and entering the car that was still parked ahead and waiting for him.

Her reaction was well deserving as she was right, back in the hall, a lot of people including Rosè were stunned speechless.

They clearly had very different names right?

In fact, other than their attractive features, there was nothing that seemed to show that they were related in any way.

"Rosè, did you friend ever mention anything like that to you?" General Sun turned over to ask his last daughter that had invited her.

"I don't know... Lalisa keeps to herself in school mostly and we only became friends very recently when I walked up to her." Rosè explained weakly, her expression and reaction made it obvious that she had been quite surprised by that turn of events.

Usually, the last part of her words would have been enough to have many people stunned.

But with the situation at hand, only her brothers noted this dynamic while everyone was still trying to connect the dots.

"To think that I still had some worries of if her intentions towards our Rosè was pure." Rosè's mother, Zhao Yan said with a wry expression.

"It's only normal to feel that way, after all that was our first time meeting her." Her husband consoled and everyone else nodded in agreement.

As for Chanyeol, his brows remained tightly knitted as he felt like there was something he was missing from the scene before, yet, he couldn't point it out.

"Let's just leave it, if it's something she can share, she will let Rosè know later on." Chanyeol finally said and then turned to go back inside his room

Usually, anytime he was curious about someone, what he usually did was carry out an investigation. But for a girl he was interested in, he felt that it was better to get to know her instead of invading her privacy.

Back in the car, after all her anger, Lalisa ended up dozing off, the exhaustion from moving around during the party and before the party finally settling in.
