Ice Cream

The next day I went to school. I couldn't stop thinking about Jason. I was at my locker and Emily came next to me.
"Hey" she greeted and I jumped because she scared me
"You scared me" I said
"Sorry" she laughed.
"What's wrong?" She asked me
"Last night I went to Jason's, we were talking about Alison and how all the stuff she said about him wasn't true. He said he was an alcoholic, obviously, but then he said he would never hurt anyone" I paused and Emily just watched me
"Then I said but you hurt yourself, then we talked about that, but now I can't stop thinking about that night" I told emily. She hugged me
"Aria, he is ok though, because of you" she said
"I know" I whispered
"Thanks Emily" I smiled at her
"Are you busy later?" She asked
"I was going to go to Ezra's" I told her
"Ok" she replied
"I have to go to class" I left her and walked. Then someone grabbed me.
"Aria, can we talk for a second" it was Jason
"Sure, why are you here?" I asked him
"I'm helping at risked youth" he told me
"That's nice" I told him
"So, I was wondering if you would like to hang out sometime again, we may not have talked about such great things last night, but I liked seeing you" he asked me. I felt heat come across my cheeks, was I blushing?
"Yeah, that would be great, I liked seeing you too" I smiled at him
"When?" He asked
"Tonight, I'm hinging out with my boyfriend" I sighed
"You don't like your boyfriend or something?" Jason asked
"No, we are just going threw something" I answered
"But tomorrow after school, I'm free" I smiled at him
"Perfect" he said then I started walking to class.
"Oh Aria" he called and I turned around
"You have a nice smile too" he smirked at me. And I smiled the whole way to class.
After school
I went to Ezra's. I was nervous. I knocked on the door and he came in and kissed me.
     "I love you" he smiled at me. I didn't respond. I walked in.
      "Ezra, listen, we have to start telling people about us" I told him. He sighed
       "But what we have going right now, it's great" he grabbed my hands and came close to me
       "Ezra, I can't keep telling people I'm not available but can't tell you who he is, and I can't keep going on a date in your apartment." I started getting upset
        "But keeping it a secret is fun" he smiled
       "To take a picture with you, I had to put a bag on my head" I yelled at him
         "Aria please, I promise we will start telling people but can we enjoy our selves tonight please" he begged me and we watched tv. I was so bored. I got a text from Jason.

Jason: I know you are with your boyfriend, but after can we meet at the brew or something?
Aria: I can meet you now! Why don't we meet for ice cream or something like that?
Jason: ok, we can meet at the ice cream place near the brew
Aria: perfect👍🏻
I turned off my phone and stood up.
    "Ezra I have to go" I kissed him before I left and before he could ask me where I was going. I went to the ice cream place. Jason came in shortly after me.
      "Hey" he greeted me
      "Hey" I greeted back
      "I thought you were with your boyfriend?" He asked as we approached the counter.  
        "All we were doing was watching TV and I was praying someone would need me." I laughed.
        "Ok then" Jason said and we got our ice cream and sat outside. We sat in silence for a little bit. Jason looked stressed. I reached across and grabbed his hand. His head shot up
       "Are you ok?" I asked him
       "I'm just nervous" he told me
       "About what?" I asked
       "Tomorrow I have to get my mom from the airport for the fashion show" he sighed
"Oh" I replied not knowing what else to say
"One more show until she steps down from the board" he told me
"I thought Jessica Dilaurentis was the board?" I asked him
"She did it for Alison, Ali lived for that show" he sighed
        "Yeah she loved it" I smiled thinking of her. We went silent for a while. Then my phone buzzed. Jason looked up and I picked up my phone. I got an email. I read it. It was from mrs Dilaurentis.
        "Your mom wants to have lunch with me and the girls in two days" I told him. He gave me a weird look. Then I got a call from ezra. I rolled my eyes. I picked up the phone.
         "Hey E-babe" I quickly corrected myself
         "Why did you leave, are you mad at me?" He asked I stood up and went to the side. 
          "Ezra I'm not mad at you, I'm just a little frustrated that you don't want to move forward, you were all in on telling my parents before Jackie came back into the picture" I mumbled into the phone. I heard him sigh
"No, Aria, no I'm over her I moved on, I'm with you" he told me
"Then show it" I hung up on him and walked back to Jason.
         "Sorry" I sat down with him again
"Was that your boyfriend?" He asked
"Yeah" I sighed
"If you are having problems with him, don't run away from them, go see him" Jason smiled at me. I gave a sad smiled.
"Thanks Jason, I'll see you around I guess" I said then stood up and left. I started walking to Ezra's and it started to poor. I got soaked. My hair was drenched and so were my clothes. Then I saw headlights come up behind me and a car pull up next to me. The car came to a stop and the drivers door opened. I stopped and turned. Ezra got out of the car.
"Aria?" He yelled over the rain.
"Ezra, I'm so happy to see you" I told him. He walked over to me and cupped my fave and kissed me. Passionately! He pulled away. He opened the passengers side door and took out a long coat and put it on. We got in the car and continued kissing. 
       "I love you Aria" he whispered to me. I continued kissing him.
