Month later: middle of summer
I went walking around town, to look at the shops and restaurants in Philly. I miss the girls, even if I did go back to rosewood they wouldn't be there. Emily went to another country to help build houses, Spencer went to another state to do some school stuff, and Hanna, well Hanna is doing some state jumping with Caleb.
I entered a small store with clothes and stuff. I looked around the store. Then I heard a girl talking to the cashier
"I always said, you're way better off with a really good lie" she sounded just like Alison. I spun around and stared at her in shock. She looked like Ali from the back. She turned around a I let go of my breath. She tilted her head just like Alison and she walked over to me.
"Can I help you?" She asked with a classic Ali tone
"No sorry, you just sounded like my friend" I gave her a nervous smile
"Really who is she, she must be amazing" she kept her head tilted.
"Her name is Alison Dilaurentis" I told her
"You're friends with Alison" she said in disbelief
"Yeah, you knew her?" I asked
"Yeah, we spent an intense summer together at her family's lake house, I dated her brother too" she told me
"You dated Jason?" I asked
"Wasn't a great relationship, he was always drunk and I just wondered away" she smiled
"He's sober now" I told her.
"Good for him" she said
"Well I have to get going, maybe i see you around again" I said
"Wait give me your number I'm in Philly for the summer maybe we can hang out, I'm Cece Drake" she offered
"I'm only here for the summer too" I smiled at her. We traded numbers then I was was on my way. I headed back to the apartment. Jason was there he was fixing something. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him from behind. He jumped a little which was weird.
"Hey, you scared me" he laughed. I gave him a kiss on his cheek and then went to to try on what I bought.
"You won't believe who I saw today" I told him, as I tried on a dress I bought.
"Who?" He yelled, because we were in different rooms then I came out to show him.
"Cece Drake, what do you think of this dress" I asked him showing him a skin tight light blue dress with quarter length sleeves.
"One, wow" he said about the dress "two, how and why did you see her?" He asked nervous I could tell
"She's in Philly for the summer and she was shopping, she said you guys spent an intense summer together" I said
"Everything with Cece is intense, even conversations" Jason told me then walked over to me and put his hands on my hips and kissed me.
"Wanna go out tonight?" He asked me as he pushed my hair away from my face
"You can wear this dress" he smirked at me.
"Ok" I agreed and kissed him, then he pulled away
"When are you going to be 18?" He asked me
"2 months" I smiled and continued kissing him
"Where do you want to go tonight?" He asked me
"Let's walk around until we see a place" I offered and he nodded
"Ok I'm gonna go change, you stay in that" Jason commanded and then went into the bed room to change into a nice outfit. Once he was dressed we left and went down the street. I held his hand as we walked down the street. We passed a nice restaurant and Jason and I went in. We sat down right away and got menus.
"Have you talked to any of the girls?" Jason asked looking over the menu.
"I've texted Hanna and I've talked on the phone with Spencer." I answered
"What about Emily?" Jason asked and put his menu down
"She's building houses" I answered
"What are you getting?" He asked me
"No clue" I laughed a little
"Wanna get a personal pizza and share it?" Jason offered.
"Sure" I smiled. We ordered our food and the waitress took our menus.
"What would you like to drink?" She asked
"I'll just have water" Jason said
"So will I" I smiled at the girl and she smiled back then left.
"Speaking of drinks, how are you with all that?" I asked him
"Well it's awkward when someone offers you one, but u feel better" he answered me.
"And no one has tried to hurt you right?" Jason asked and I saw the worry in his eyes
"No, I'm A free and it feels so good" I sighed in relief.
"I love it here, we are away from rosewood and the drama, and we are together" I grabbed Jason's hand from across the table.
"It's great here" Jason agreed
"Yeah, I wouldn't have ever been here if it wasn't for you" I told him
"Have you talked to your parents, or Mike?" Jason asked
"Yeah my mom and dad took a vacation to the beach and rented a house around there, Mike and his girlfriend went for a few days" I told Jason
"That sounds like fun" Jason said
"I'm sorry but I have to bring this up again, are you sure Mona is the only A?" He asked
"There is no more A Jason, breathe" i told him then the waitress came with the food.
After we ate we walked around town. We passed music and statues. Jason was really quiet it was weird, normally he is talking and dancing when we pass music or taking picture of me just to get on my nerves. I stopped in our tracked and faced him
"What's up, you are acting really weird" I asked concerned. He was quiet with he I head down for a minute. I just waited. Then he grabbed my hands.
"I Love you, Aria" he stopped. I froze up
"I know it's early in our relationship but that's how I feel" he stared in my brown eyes with his beautiful green eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. He lifted me off the ground. I pulled my lips away from his and touched nose to nose
"I love you Too, Jason" I kissed him again
