From a Christian Girl's Perspective

For 2017

A blessed 2017 to y'all! God is so good, if it weren't by His grace, we won't be able to live another year. I pray in Jesus' name that if there are any baggage or bad habits or hate in your heart right now, you will leave all those in 2016 and just let go and let God.

A Wattpad member who is Muslim recently messaged me and she has such compassion for both Islam and Christians. She says she and many others love Christians. In fact, she has Christian friends. I know that not all Christians hate Muslims(I already explained to her that we are called to love), but she wants to let us know that not all Muslims are bad. She said that right now, many of them are being killed in many parts of the world and as Christians (or whatever our beliefs are), we should never judge a person based of his/her race,culture,gender or beliefs. There has become a stigma, and tons of lives lost and it's really sad. If you think that everyone deserves love regardless of which background they came from, I praise God for your heart! Let's pray for unity and peace among all people in this world.

Btw, I did not even explain the verses thoroughly below. Before reading, ask God to consecrate you and protect you from harm and distraction. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to understand these verses.

Recently, I just feel God impressing some things to me and I have to share these to you guys.

1.) There are going to be huge testings in 2017 (especially conflicts between people around us) but let us not fear because :

>No one shall be able to stand against you. The Lord your God will lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread, as he promised you. -Deuteronomy 11:25 

>  The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him.-Psalm 28:7

  >For he will hide me in his shelter
in the day of trouble;
he will conceal me under the cover of his tent;
he will lift me high upon a rock.-Psalm 27:5  

> No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.-Joshua 1:5

 

2.) God also wants us to have courage.  He will never forsake us in our journey.

  >Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you.  -Joshua 1: 6-7

> Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."-Joshua 1:9

3.) Following and trusting God bring the most beautiful rewards. He wants to get rid of what does not help you grow as a person and He wants to lead you in His ways to sanctify you.

>The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.-Proverbs 4:18

>Teach me your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies. -Psalm 27: 11

>See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.-Psalm 139:24

4.) God is going to do AMAZING things

  >Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.  -Isaiah 43:19

5.) He wants us to shine His light to others.

   >"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. -Matthew 5:14

6.) He wants us to seek Him.

  >Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, "Seek my face."
My heart says to you,
"Your face, Lord, do I seek."-Psalm 27:7-8  

  >You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.-Jeremiah 29:13

Hey! Here are some stuff you can do for 2017:

-go on a prayer and fasting (to deny our desires of the flesh and put our focus on God)

-list down your faith goals

-be more consistent in reading the bible

-list spiritual warfare verses and whenever you are in a warfare, recite them with faith
