"Ohhhhh." I groaned into a pillow sounding like a zombie, my body slowly starting to awake. My hands came to my eyes wiping the crust out of them. It felt like I had been hit by a bus, then the bus reversed, and then went forward again - me still being under it.

My entire body felt stiff. A shiver that started from my spine and then went through my limbs before exiting, made me jump up in alarm and then relax slightly, once I noticed I wasn't in immediate danger. Air blew from my mouth, pushing away the stray strands of my unruly, dark brown hair. Slowly, my vision started to clear as the objects in it began to stop moving and sit still.

Wow, was the first word that came to mind.

I was a bedroom. It was about medium size with a reddish orange diamond platted walls and dark carpeted floor. The carpeted looked extremely foreign, something I have never seen before. Weird incarnations were woven in it, starting from the center and then extending out. The bed sat close to a corner that was by a window closed by long silk drapes. The bed was lush and inviting. It felt like I was laying on layers of memory foam and the comforter was a plain regal red.

In the middle of the room sat a lounge area equipped with two dark ruby red couches and a wooden coffee table across from an unlit fireplace that was outlined with bricks, but by the way it shined, it looked like it was made from the same material of a high tech computer. The first thought that came to mind was fancy yet digital, but the type of feeling the room portrayed was the least of my worries.

Getting up off the bed disoriented, I looked around me suspiciously. I could barely remember the events that happened to me before I woke up. Sluggishly, my feet slid on the slick, smooth, carpeted floor trudging to the window.

Let's brightened up this room.

Yanking the curtains open my eyes stared out the window, confusion rising even higher. A black abyss set outside the glass which seemed like it was blurring past me. It was like one of those old movies in which a person was driving in a car speeding and the background was moving in sync with it.

Suddenly everything slowed down making me shift a little bit in my spot but barely. My eyebrows scrunched in confusion as I bit my lip, squinting out the window, looking at the dark emptiness.

Where the hell was I?

Realization suddenly hit and my stomach tightened in anxiety. I gasped, shock radiating through me. If I was right, which I was hoping I wasn't, this seemed oddly like outer space. I shook my head in disbelief, running my hands over my face.

But that was impossible.

And if I was in outer space then the little round matters we were passing were planets. One looked literally gold and was small compared to the other one neighboring it. Another one was a charcoal gray and looked like an outer layer of oxygen was covering it as black clouds swayed freely in its atmosphere.

Gears in my head suddenly started to turn. This meant I was on a space ship or something. But how?

A large globe of bright light passed my vision. A star? Bigger and brighter than the sun. So bright I had to duck down because it felt like my skin was on fire as the light hit it, making it hurt and a zap shoot down my spine, making me jump back up in the process.
