"Taehyung?" You questioned again. You watched as his face grew pale.

"Well um," he paused, "Just hybrid stuff."

You still weren't satisfied with that answer.

"What kind of hybrid stuff?"

"Y/n should I really be telling you this?!" Taehyung cried in frustration

"What do you mean?" You really wished he would stop beating around the bush and just tell you already.

How was Taehyung supposed to tell Y/n his friend tried to initiate mating with her? It wasn't uncommon for bunnies to need to do that sort of thing often, in fact, it wasn't even seen as that big a deal. But would a human understand that? He decided ti try his luck.

"He started his heat."

At first, Y/n looked confused, then when it hit her, she silently mouthed the word "oh".

"I thought only female hybrids entered heat."

"They're the only ones who have one regularly, like a human female's period," corrected Taehyung, "However, male hybrids can enter heat if hormonally triggered, usually when they are sexually frustrated or want to do "it" with their mate. But both male and female heats can be satisfied with actual sexual contact with another."

"So Jungkook has to go find a random girl to have sex with?" She looked a bit disgusted

"No no, I said it can only be satisfied with contact, but it can go away on its own. He, like many others, just has to wait it out." Taehyung tried his best to explain and not smear her opinion of Jungkook. But all he was saying was true.

Your mind was now on fire and wondered if staying with a male hybrid was a good idea. 

"Do you get heats?" She asked, causing Taehyung to blush.

"Tigers in general aren't very hormonal," Started Taehyung, "but sometimes yeah."

"Do you usually wait them out?" You blurted. The thought of Taehyung being around another girl made you feel a little threatened. Taehyung smirked.

"Aww is my little kitten jealous?" He said leaning forwards and tracing his finger down the side of your face. You didn't respond.

"Yes little kitten, I wait them out, just like most unmated hybrids do." He whispered in your ear, the tension washing away immediately afterwards.

"You are the only girl in my life and I plan to keep it that way." He continued. You felt your cheeks grow warmer. What is even happening? Kim Taehyung made you feel things that you had never felt before and you weren't sure if that was a good thing or not. But you did know normal friends, which you two have claimed to be, didn't behave this way.

"I can still smell that rodent's scent on you." Taehyung frowned as he sniffed your hair. He picked you up suddenly and carried you to the couch.

"W-what are you doing?"

"Haha you have a lot to learn about hybrids don't you?" Taehyung teased. He sat down and placed you on his lap in a straddling position.

"Don't worry I'll teach you everything about my kind." He leaned forward and began rubbing his face against your neck, nuzzling you gently.

"This is called scenting," He said against your neck, "It tells other hybrids that you belong to me." His hands wrapped around your slender waist as you wrapped your arms around him involuntarily pulling him closer. It tickled at first, but at his lips began brushing against the sensitive skin of your neck and his hot breath hit against it as well, it began to feel good.

"T-Taehyuuugh," your voice drifted as you tried to say his name.

"Y/n," he whispered huskily.

"Hmm?"

"I changed my mind."

"What about?" You asked absently, your mind focusing on the new sensation you were experiencing.

"I don't want to take care of you with nothing in return."

You pulled away and looked at his face. You were scared. You didn't have money or anything for that matter. You could offer nothing back in return for his kind gestures. Was he going to throw you out?

"There is a way for you to repay me." Taehyung said as if reading your mind as his eyes bore into yours, his ears twitching anxiously.

"Which is?"

"Be my girlfriend."

At first you didn't think you heard him right. Then you saw he was dead serious. What could a handsome guy like him want with a girl like you? You couldn't deny your feelings for him. From the very start you wanted to be with him forever in anyway possible, but was this really happening? You hadn't felt loved in a long time and now a day after meeting you, Taehyung asks you to be his girlfriend. It felt like a dream.

"What did you say?" You asked just to be sure he wouldn't take it back. Taehyung's large hands cupped your cheeks softly and looked you directly in the eyes.

"Y/n, please," He said in an almost pleading, delicate tone,

"Be.My.Mate."
