This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the product of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

I sipped my coffee as I try to keep myself awake at night. The sound of the crashing waves made my heart beat loudly, it felt though my heart will tore open my chest and comeout.

I've been kept sadly in the dark for my whole life, so as my heart.

Yes, it is my home, I'm home, but it doesn't seem enough for me. It's like a love that is proven through premonitions and agonies, not with happiness.

To me, everything takes time and everything requires patience especially on things that we've been expecting to happen. Yet sometimes, things aren't meant for us that we lose our hopes and get our efforts wasted.

That's why I'm strongly hoping, na sana may mga bulalakaw ngang dadaan. Cherishing the breeze, the last cold blow made me look up in the sky.

To my luck, the shooting stars invaded my night. It was a beautiful moment for me kahit na saglit ko lang nakita. In that short time, It revived my hope.

It was another night that has something to wait.

This time, I am strongly hoping to witness another spectacular thing to form in the night sky — the eclipse. Having the chance to see it tonight would be a great Christmas gift for me.

Minutes passed and I felt a little shake. It was normal for me not until the shake got more powerful that I got extremely dizzy.

For the last time, I saw the moon and it was red.

Until my alarming unconsciousness, it is still beautiful.

I almost fell, but something warmth hugged and caught me.

At exactly 11:11 PM, I wished the light to devour my darkness and turn it into something bright before I close my eyes—and it did.
