Y/n Pov-

Niall has only been paying attention to Crystal and I just know he loves her more then me, he always says he loves us equally but I doubt it, it was mine and crystals birthday and he gave her a big doll house and a scooter and a pretty bracelet and got me some clothes, i was grateful for the clothes because they were my favorite colors but he gave her a hug and gave me a pat on the back then went to go help Crystal set it up

alittle while later he was cuddling with her while they ate snacks and watched shows but when I reached for the snacks he pushed my hands away saying it was only for him and Crystal and that I needed to get my own!

i was very upset so i went to my room and slammed the door, he didn't love me at all, a minute later Crystal walked in asking me if I was okay " no im not, Niall only loves you and not me " i said as she just looked down

" I'm sure that's not true " she said as i just rolled my eyes telling her to get out, " don't be mad at me i didn't do anything " she said sadly as i just got up and pushed her out slamming the door in her face

I heard a soft sob but continued to jump on my bed hiding my face in my stuffed animal, I was thinking of how i could get Niall to love me again when he angrily walked in my room " why did you slam the door in crystals face, that was very rude, she's your sister " he said sternly as i just groaned,

" im your sister too, did you forget that, ignoring me and showing more love to Crystal is very rude " i said firing back as he walked towards me " this back talk is disrespectful as well " he said as i rolled my eyes " go back to Crystal she's the one you love the most, especially more then me " i said as he shook his head walking out closing the door making me more sad to the point where I bursted into tears.

I then decided to stop being a big baby about it and run away, I grabbed my back pack and brought a blanket and some random clothes and then went to the kitchen with my lunchbox to grab snacks and nobody noticed so I quickly ran out and closed the door.

I just ran! i didn't even know where I was going but I ran and ran and then took a break at a bench for some gummy snacks then kept on walking,

It was soon starting to get dark outside and I was very afraid of the dark so i was going to turn around and walk to were i came from until I bumped into somebody and i fell on my bum
letting out a soft 'oof ' sound

" are you alright? " he asked as i said yes but when i looked up i was surprised to see somebody i didn't expect to see " Zayn " I said quietly " y/n, is that you or is this Crystal i can't tell " he laughed as he picked me up putting me on his hip " it's me, y/n " I said as he nodded " I remember it's yours and crystals birthday so happy birthday little one " he said tickling me as I giggled and begged him to stop " where's your brother and sister he asked as i pouted "Nialls at home with Crystal because he loves her more then me, i don't even think they noticed I ran off " i said as he nodded " wanna tell me what happened " he said sitting at the bench that was near us as i nodded

Zayn Pov:

Y/n finished telling me what happened and by the end she was in tears, I felt so bad " awe y/n come here " i said as she cuddled into my chest wrapping her arms around my shoulder

" how about you let me have a talk with your brother " i asked as she shook her head " he's probably to busy with Crystal and probably won't answer because, well since you left...." she trailed off as i just shook my head and got up calling Niall as y/n stayed seated

I called Niall and after 5 rings he answered " oh, hey Zayn how are you " he said as i told him I was okay " hey I remember it's y/n and crystals birthday can i say happy birthday to them " I asked as he said yes

" crystal go get your sister upstairs " he said as Crystal said okay, we talked a bit until crystal must have came back down because I heard her say

" y/n isnt in her room, or any where upstairs "

" what do you mean " he said as he then told me to hold on

" OH GOD Y/N WHERE ARE YOU " i heard him shout as crystal started crying " crystal hello can you hear me " i said loudly as she then said " yes " through the phone

" pass the phone to Niall " I said as she said okay and gave it to Niall " Zayn can I call you in a better time " he said " no " I responded

" I have y/n here with me now, I was walking down the street to the store when she bumped into me " I said as he sighed " where are you " he asked as I told him I was by ( somewhere idk sorry haha )

" oh god that's like 35 minutes from our house " he said as I shook my head " well i heard that you haven't been paying much attention to her and only to Crystal, maybe that's why, and i mean it's 8pm so i can only imagine for how long she's been gone " i said as I heard Niall let out a sad sob " Niall it's alright don't cry just come pick her up because she's actually fallen asleep on this bench " i told him as he said he'd be right there

Niall Pov-

I got my shoes on and rushed crystal into the car and drove along way, when i saw Zayn holding y/n in his arms i was relieved, she was asleep and rocking her side to side in his arms i quickly jumped out the car and thanked Zayn a million times

when y/n got passed to me she woke up and started whining reaching for Zayn " i don't want you " she said pushing me away from her " you only love crystal not me, I hate you " she cried as i wiped my tears " listen I've been a bad brother I know and I don't deserve you but please forgive me I'm sorry if you felt left out or anything, I'm really sorry, I'm so stupid I know I know " I said crying as I put my head on hers and she looked at me

" your not a bad brother " she said as I picked my head up and she wiped my tears " your the best, but you don't pay attention to me and i feel sad " she said as I nodded " I know, I know, i promise princess i promise I'll be a better brother and I'll pay attention to you I'll be the best big brother ever because it's my job to protect you and love you " I said as she just smiled and kissed my nose " i love you " she said putting her head on my shoulder as i let out a sigh of relief  " I love you more " i said as she hummed and leaned closer into me

" thank you so much " i mouthed to Zayn as he nodded patting my back " maybe I'll see you guys around, I've got to go now but I'm glad you guys are back together " he said as we shook hands and
y/n gave him a side hug as we walked back to the car and once we got in y/n and crystal exchanged smiles and crystal came up with the idea to go get ice cream all 3 of us " yes please ni " y/n said as i nodded " then we can go where ever you want " I said as y/n cheered and we all stayed happily together
