Niall Pov:

I was waiting for y/n to finish her bath so she could go to bed,
Me, Harry, Liam and Louis all had a house together and I convince my parents to let y/n spend the night

" ni I'm done " she yelled from in the bathtub

I helped her dry off and put her clothes on and we went back out to the living room, we all decided to play games for a little until it was 10pm and y/n was tired

I brought her to my room, I laid her down and kissed her forehead before walking out until she sat back up " your leaving the light on right " she said as I turned on my heel

" well wouldn't you like to sleep in the dark " I asked as she nervously but her lip " uh yea I guess, goodnight " she said laying down
" night love you " I said as I turned off the light and left

Y/n POV:

Once he left I was scared, I forgot my night light and I was pretty scared of the dark, I didn't say anything because I didn't want him to laugh at me.

I laid there not tired anymore because I was awake trying not to let the night monsters get me

I then heard something fall in Nialls closet which made me even more scared I knew it was a monster I needed my night light I couldn't take it.

" NIALL " I yelled running to the opposite side of the room crying in a corner

I heard footsteps coming up the steps and when Niall walked in I quickly ran to him

" the monsters, in, y-your closet " I stuttered out as he picked me up and I saw the rest of the guys behind him

" I don't want to be alone please
please please please " I begged hiding my face in his shoulder

" it's alright, come on how about we all go downstairs and cuddle without until you fall asleep " Niall said turning to all the boys as I watched them smile at me and nod " ok " I said holding onto Niall as we went downstairs

We all laid on the big couch I laid next to Niall and Louis and Harry was on top of Niall and Liams head was on the arm of the couch and he feet were on Louis

We all laid there for a bit watching tv until I noticed my brother and Louis and Liam fell asleep

" looks like it's just me and you " Harry said with open arms as I smiled and laid in his arms

" Hazzy can I tell you something " I said as he nodded " promise not to laugh " I said as he nodded and promised

" I can't sleep without my night light but I'm scared to tel Niall because I don't want him to laugh at me " I said with tears in my eyes

" awe y/n I promise if you just tell him he won't laugh, he's your brother he loves you very much he'd never laugh at you " he said as I shrugged and nodded

" look how about you pretend to be asleep and he will take you up and lay with him and when you guys are alone you can tell him I promise he won't laugh " Harry said as I nodded so I pretending to be asleep

Niall Pov:

I don't remember falling asleep but I woke up to y/n in Harry's arms and she finally fell asleep

" here take her up " he said passing y/n to me as I nodded and said goodnight as he woke up the others so they'd go to there room

Once I got upstairs I laid down with y/n and went back to sleep until she poked me and looked wide awake

" were you not just asleep " I asked as she nodded " I hafta tell you something but promise not to laugh " she said as I sat up and nodded and promised

" I can't sleep without my night light that's at home in my room I'm scared of the dark I need just a little bit of light " she said looking embarrassed

" awe y/n why didn't you say anything earlier " I asked feeling bad that I left her in here earlier with no light

" because I thought you would laugh and think ima baby " she said shrugging

" you are no baby don't worry look I can leave on my phone flashlight and use that as I night light " I said as she smiled and nodded

Once I turned it on there was some light in the room and she looked much happier

" thanks Nialler " she said yawning and I smiled and kissed her cheek

" your welcome, don't ever be scared to tell me if your scared alright I'll never laugh I'm always here for you got it " i told her as she laid back down and smiled cuddling back into me

" your the best brother ever " she said quietly and slowly falling asleep

" your the best too " I said falling asleep myself
