Todays the day I tell y/n that I like her so I'm going to her house and I'm bringing her some nice red roses her favorite candy and a letter and in the letter I wrote

" dear y/n it's Jordan I've been meaning to tell you this since we were in 7th grade but I really like you and I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me and leaving flowers candy and a letter is not the best way to ask you out but it's just because I'm alittle nervous I'm sorry but if the answer is yes text me xoxo Jordan ❤️ "

So I got up to her front porch rang the doorbell and left everything by the door and ran back home

Y/n POV:

Me and Niall and Greg were playing video games when the doorbell rang we paused the game as Greg went to answer it.

A minute later he came back with roses and chocolates and a letter in his hand and he looked pretty upset

" who's Jordan, y/n " he came walking over to me giving me the stuff

" uhh I only know one Jordan and that's my best friend " I said opening the card reading it

Once I finished I made 😬 <- that face

Niall and Greg looked at me weirdly and asked why I made that face

" if I tell you do you promise to let me finish what I have to say because I definitely have a lot to say " I said raising my eyebrow

" fine " they both said at the same time

" he's asking me out " I said quieter and quieter feeling embarrassed

" no boyfriends " Niall said
" yea no boyfriends " Greg said following Niall

" you didn't let me finish you idiots " I said face palming myself

"I don't like Jordan we have been friends for the longest and he said he's liked me for a while and I look him like a brother best friend" I said throwing the card next to me and eating the candy

" oh " they said at the same time

" well how are you going to tell him " Niall said

" uh I don't know, can we just get back to the video games because you guys are the only boys I need in my life " I said sitting between them wrapping my arm around each of them hugging them tightly

I saw them both smiling and we just continued the game while eating my candy

Eventually it was night time and I was getting ready for bed and I decided to text Jordan back

" heyyy Jordan, I saw the flowers candy and card and sorry it took so long for me to respond I was hanging out with my brothers and so the answer to your question is no I'm really sorry Jordan my brothers are very over protective and I see you as like another brother and I'm really sorry Jordan, hopefully we can still be friends and forget this happened and we can keep this between me and you" I then pressed send and waiting a while until he texted back

" it's totally fine y/n I understand I'm very over protective with my sisters to so don't worry about it and of course we can still be friends even though you just friendzoned me hahaha but we can definitely stay friends anyways I'll see you at school tomorrow goodnight y/n " he texted back and I mentally smiled because I really did feel bad for him and I'm glad he still wants to be friends.
