Y/n Pov:

" come on y/n let's go home and get something to eat, are you hungry " daddy asked as i smiled and nodded running to him

" alright come on, any ideas " he said as i just shrugged " how about......McDonald's " I said jumping up and down as he smiled, " alright then come on " he said as I smiled following behind him

The park wasn't far from our house so we started walking, we passed by these really flowers until I saw something yellow hidden inside, so I looked at daddy he kept walking not paying attention so I took a quick peek and it was a duckling

Once he saw me he started walking to me, I smiled at him
" hi little duckie, your so tiny what are you doing alone " I said as it circled around me

I quickly realized daddy was alittle far from me as I could leave the duckie alone by himself so I picked it up putting him carefully in the pocket of my sweater then ran to daddy

" we're going to postmates McDonald's, daddy's to lazy to go " he said as I nodded and giggled

Once we got home I couldn't let daddy know I had the duck he wouldn't let me keep it, " I'll be in my room daddy " i said as he smiled and nodded " nuggets fries and ice cream right " he said as I shouted back yes half way upstairs

I ran into my room holding the duck in my hands and setting him on the floor, he was walking around exploring my room, his little waddle was cute,

You must be hungry, you must want to swim, I thought so I quickly got my little Barbie pool

and went to the bathroom to fill it up, when I came back I put it on my night stand and carried the duckling in the pool, he was really quick splashing around,

" I'll go get you bread DONT move " I said but then realized what if he jumped out and got hurt

I carefully moved the little pool to the floor and closed my door

" y/n the food will be here soon " I heard my daddy say as I nodded and ran in the kitchen, I grabbed my stepping stool and climbed on the counter grabbing a piece of bread

" what are you doing " daddy asked as I widened my eyes,

" quick snack bye- " I said running away from him leaving him confused

When I got back upstairs the duckie was still in his little pool

I ripped little tiny pieces for him until I heard the door knob making me gasps " y/n come down- " his jaw dropped

Niall Pov:

" y/n, is that a duck, am I dreaming " I said rubbing my eyes

" please don't be mad, please let me keep him daddy I'll take care of him " she said ok the verge of tears

" hey hey, dont cry km not mad at all I'm just...surprised " I said picking her up while looking at the duck swim around in her dolls pool

" he was alone in the flowers I had to take him daddy " she said wiping her eyes and putting her head down on my shoulder

How was I going to say we can't keep him without saying we can't keep him!!!

" how about we keep him until he's older enough to take care of himself " she said as she gave me those cute ADORABLE eyes making me groan

" alright, but this is illegal " I said as she giggled kissing my cheek
" thank youuuu " she smiled as I put her down

" well what's his name " I asked as she sat and thought " leeroy " she said smirking " like uncle LiLi " she giggled

" okay well grab leeroy, the foods here come onnn " i sang as she smiled and grabbed the duck in alittle towel

" he's so cute " she said as I carried her downstairs holding the duck while in her hands

" like you " i said as I kissed her cheek as she smiled

" and your handsome daddy " she said kissing my cheek

" I know " I smirked as she giggled shaking her head as we started eating and watch the duck run around on the floor and under the table around the chairs
