Niall Pov:

Today I was going to adopt a little girl to call mine, it's pretty lonley at home and I think a child would keep me busy. It was currently 11 I was getting in my car and now pulling out the drive way, I drove to the babies and toddler store picking out a pretty pink car seat (or whatever color you like)

Once I got to the adoption center the woman asked what age and gender I'd like so I said maybe about the age of 2 or 3 and a little girl, she then told me to follower her and she brought me to a really cute room with lots of cute kids but the little girl sitting in the far corner with a pacifier in her mouth and a pink stuffed animal was by herself playing

" she seems like a shy and quiet one " I said as the lady smiled and nodded " that's y/n, she's very sweet and quiet, the poor thing was sitting out on the curb saying that her father would bring her a puppy if she sat there and he never came back " she said as I looked back at y/n and frowned

" it pisses me off knowing there are cruel people doing things to innocent little kids, can I go talk to her " I asked as she nodded
" you can try she won't speak to anybody but Ms.Kenzie, the lady next to me in the front desk " she said as I nodded and slowly walked over to y/n.

" hi, what's your name " I said sitting down next to her as she just stared at me.

" shy, huh " I said looking at her as she shrugged, " who's that you got there " I said pointing to her stuffed animal as she handed it to me " Mr.Cuddles " she said as she softly smiled

" well if this is mr.cuddles then who are you " I said poking her nose as she quietly giggled
" im y/n " she said as she looked down and played with her shoelaces

" that's a really cute name " I said as she quietly thanked me
" how old are you " I said as he held up 4 fingers " three " she said as i softly laughed and went to put one finger down to show her until she flinched. Did she think I was gonna hit her?

" please don't hurt me " she whispered as I frowned " I won't I promise, I'm a good guy, I'd never hurt you " I said as she pouted
" promise " she said as I smiled and nodded " promise " I said as she nodded, I asked her to show me how old she was again but this time I put one finger down so that she would actually have three

" I know you are 3 years old so that's how much 3 is " I said as she giggled " ohhh " she said as we both laughed

" how about your ABC's do you know them " I said as she smiled and nodded

" a,b,c,d,e,f,g.... " she stopped to think as I helped her sound out the letter H

" h,i,j,k,ellamellop..." she stopped again as I laughed at how adorable she was, I wanted her

" q,r,s " I said as she slowly moved closer to me, I thought she was actually warming up to me

" t,u,v " she stopped and clapped
