Today was my little girls wedding, I shouldn't be saying little anymore because now she's all grown up and getting married today
It was time for me to walk her down the aisle and I couldn't help but cry a bit because who wouldn't
" dad stop crying your gonna make me cry " she said wiping my tears
I walked her down to Jonah where they linked hands and faced each other
We all sat down and listened to the man talking before he told them to say there wedding vows
Let me say my crying didn't stop I was so happy for her and sad that she's growing up, it was as if yesterday she was only 5, all our cuddle sessions and Disney movies with snacks and all the times she got hurt how she came to me, all the monsters I scared away for her, I couldn't do that anymore
I tried to stop but it's like all the tears kept coming, I then snapped out of my thoughts when I heard
" you may now kiss the bride "
As everybody stood up and clapped cheering them on
Then all the wedding guest drove to this big party we were having when the Dj said he was going to play a slow song
I went and found y/n sitting talking to her friends when I asked her to dance with me
I took her to the middle of the dance floor where she then started getting emotional and then so did I, I thought I cried all my tears out already but I was sadly mistaken
" I love you dad " she said hugging me tight
" I love you to " I said kissing her forehead and rubbing her back as everybody watched in awe
" I wish you would have stayed little, now your grown, where did my little girl go " I said wiping my tears trying to man up
" I'm right here dad, I'll be your little girl forever and you know it " she said hugging me once more before Jonah walked up to us and smashed cake in our face
" I'd thought I'd lift the moment it was getting to emotional in here " Jonah said laughing as we all laughed and me and y/n wiped the cake off our face and threw it at Jonah as he tried running away
We all had a bit more fun until the groom and bride left for there honeymoon but I couldn't let her go without something
Before she got in the car I handed her a box, a box I've been waiting to give her on this exact day
I handed her the box as I watched her face light up

" I want you to put it on " she said smiling turing around moving her hair out of the way
I put it on her and she held it looking at him

I helped her get in the car as she drove off, I watched the car leave as it slowly disappeared with my little girl getting farther and farther from me.
