Niall Pov:
Today I took y/n and her friends to the beach today and they were wild together
" y/n don't go to far be careful stay were i can see you " I told her as she just nodded and quickly ran away
I was watching them play around in the water until y/n and Jess were play fighting and y/n fell back in the water, I ran over to the water
" y/n are you alright " I said helping her up and she pulled her arm away
" dad I'm fine stop worrying I just fell and atleast it wasn't on the sand " she told me almost sounding annoyed as her friends continued to play.
A few minutes later I called them to come eat, they were all eating and talking while I was in my phone I looked up and saw y/n had some food on the side of her lips I grabbed a napkin and wiped her face out and helped her out her straw in her drink
" dad stop " she said trying to stop me from wiping her face
" sorry you had something on your face " I said looking back on my phone
Y/n Pov:
He is so embarrassing, me and my friends were talking then all of a sudden he's wiping my face, I mean thanks dad but really, he's babying me in front of my friends there going to think I'm a baby when he put my straw in my drink I saw my friends whispering to each other and straight away thought they were talking about me.
We continued to play around of course with my dad still babying me telling me to be careful and stay where he could see me. —————————————————
Niall Pov:
We just got back home the kids are showering, y/n in her bathroom I let her friend Paul go in my shower and Jess was in the bathroom downstairs.
We were going to the nighttime aquarium where it would be dark and we could see how the sea animals lived at night at sea.
They were all playing in the yard when y/n fell again and scrapped her knee I ran outside and picked her up wiped her tears, her friends were curiously following me.
I put y/n on the counter and started to wipe her cut
" dad stop I can do it " she said trying to take the wet rag away
" I need to wipe it so it won't get infected " I said as she trying getting away from me
" y/n your brave I would be crying and screaming if I got a cut like that " her friend Jess said as she patted her back
" yea lucky you got your dad my parents would have told me to suck it up and wipe it myself " Paul said laughing as y/n playfully rolled her eyes
I put the bandage on her and helped her get down from the counter kissing her forehead
" yuck " she said laughing and wiping her forehead —————————————————
Y/n Pov:
It was later on and we got to the aquarium we were looking around slowly walking away from my dad as he was to busy on his phone and we saw a room where people were touching whatever was in the little glass of water
We went up to it and saw people touching sting rays we thought it was pretty cool

So we ran up to the little tank and started to touch the sting rays As we were touching them my dad found us and pulled me away from the glass " y/n what have I always said about walking away from me " he says grabbing me pulling me to the side away from Paul and Jess
" dad I'm not a baby all day you have been treating me like a baby please stop " I told him as his angry face slowly turns into a sad as he just nodded and pushed me softly to my friends
"why are you so mean to your dad" Paul asked as he looked at Niall standing near the wall looking at other kids with their parents
" yea he was just being nice, you should be lucky to have him as your dad because my parents wouldn't do all that for me " Jess said as she gave me a small smile
" yea I know but it's like everyday he just baby's me and it gets annoying sometimes " I said going back to looking at the sting rays
" well...maybe he wants you to stay his baby, ever thought about that " Jess said making me look at my dad to see his sitting staring at his hands on his lap. I then felt sad for being such a jerk and felt like I was going to cry if I didn't run up to him and hug him
I slowly walked over to him and sat by him putting my head on his shoulder
" I'm sorry " I said looking up at him as he stared confused
" I was being a jerk and all you wanted to do was help and take care of me " I said making him put his arm over my shoulder
He said nothing but just hugged me back and we sat there for a while
" I'm sorry for being annoying " he said looking down at me as I shook my head
" annoying and very kind are to different words dad " I said making him smile and laugh a little
" I love you dad, sorry if I was being rude or disrespectful " I said rubbing my eyes to stop the tears from coming
" it's alright you weren't, and I love you to, now go have fun " he said patting my back
" not without you " I said dragging him back to my friends to touch the stingrays again as Jess smiled at me and gave me a small hug
And we continued to have fun until we had to drop off Paul and Jess back to there house.
