Y/n Pov:

It's Christmas Eve, Nialls not here after he promised he would be, he said he'd never break it promises, so much for that.

I was helping Bella get dressed for bed when she asked " will Niall be home for Christmas tomorrow " in the most happiest voice and I didn't want to lie to her but I also didn't want to give her hopes up

" well I don't know actually " I said carrying her onto her bed

" but he said he would " she said looking at her fingers

" well only the future can tell so get some sleep or Santa won't come " I said trying to cheer her up

" ok, goodnight y/n, love you " she said smiling laying down with her stuffed animal

" goodnight, love you to Bella " I said turning on her night light and slight ty closing her door

I walked back to my room and sat on my bed and started crying, I didn't know why, I couldn't tell if I was upset or sad or hurt I just started crying and maybe a bit to loud because then mum walked in

" y/n honey why are you crying " she said sitting next to me wrapping her arms around me

" he promised, he promised " I said crying even more

" y/n...." was all she said before hugging me tighter

" he never breaks his promises " I said sitting up wiping my tears

" well ya know y/n it's not Christmas yet he may come tomorrow " she said as I just shook my head

Then my Bella walked in the room " why are you crying sissy " she said hugging me and I just kissed her forehead

" is it because you think Niall won't be home tomorrow, it's ok y/n remember NiNi never breaks his promises " she said wiping my tears as I smiled at her

" i doubt it " I said looking at my phone to see a message from Niall but I was to upset to open it so I put my phone on my nightstand and got under the covers as my mum kissed my forehead

" there's still tomorrow don't give up on him " she said before closing my door taking Bella back to bed as I slowly fell asleep

Niall Pov:

It's 2 in the morning and I've just made it home and I told mum that I'd be coming home this late because I wanted to surprise the girls so i called my mum to let me in, I snuck into my room and fell asleep waiting for morning to come I was so excited to see my sisters again

Bella Pov:

I woke up then it was morning I remember it was Christmas I ran to mummy and daddy's room and of course jumped on there bed to wake them up

" ITS CHRISTMAS " I said giggling as they woke up and kissed

" ew kissing " I said running away to y/n's room

I crawled in her bed and cuddled with her because she gets mad if I jump on her

" y/n it's Christmas " I said slowly shaking her arm and she just put the covers over her head
" 5 more minutes " she said as I giggled

" please come open presents with me I love you so so so much " I said as she looked and me and smiled shaking her head

I then grabbed her hand and dragged her to the living room where there were tons of presents and mummy and daddy were already there

We opened a few gifts but I haven't seen y/n smile like she always does I can tell they were fake smiles.

Just then mummy said she'd be back as y/n and I were reviewing all out toys and things

Maura Pov:

I walked away from the girls to get Niall ready, I woke him up and made him sit on his desk chair and alittle bit behind the door so when the girls opened it they would see him right away

Once I got him ready I walked back in the living room

" I've got one more big special present for both of you girls " I said as they looked confused and I led them to Nialls room

" a surprise in Nialls room? " y/n asked as I nodded my head and told Bella to open the door

Once she did she screamed and laughed

" I KNEW YOU'D BE HOME I KNEW IT I KNEW IT " she said jumping on him and hugging him as y/n stood at the door shocked

" well can I get a hug from you to " he told y/n as she laughed and ran to hug him to

" see I told you Nialler never breaks his promises, you were crying for no reason " Bella said as Nialls eyes went wide

" awe you cried I'm sorry I made you cry " he said hugging y/n kissing her cheek as she groaned

" gross " she said laughing

" alright you guys let's go celebrate Niall come open some gifts " I told them as they all walked to the living room where we spent Christmas as a family
