Y/n POV:

I was walking to my locker when i heard my friends talking about me so I hid behind the corner of the wall and heard them talking

" so since we have a group project with y/n let's just say we can't do it at our house so we could go to her brother and her brother and Harry,Liam and Louis " Jessica said, I never really liked her anyways because she was a problematic person

" yes I remember she told me this morning that the boys would be there " Ashley said, Ashley and I have had our ups and downs but I still don't like her either

" I don't even like y/n I'm just acting like I do, plus she's annoying and not even that pretty I don't see how she could be related to Niall  "

" don't you think it's wrong that you guys are using her just to see the band it's not right guys I'm not gonna use her she's my best friend and I'm telling her about your stupid little plans we have always hated you guys anyways " I heard Layla say, now me and Layla have been friends since and I'm glad she stuck up for me after all those fake idiots only wanted to use me

" if you tell her our plan we will just lie and say that it's you who's using her and that you were talking bad about her " Jessica said

At this point I was crying and I couldn't take it anymore so I walked from behind the wall and they all gasped when they saw me

" alright so what's the first lie going to be about... " I said as they all nervously looked around at each other

"that's what I thought don't ever talk to me or Layla and my brother will be hearing about this" I said grabbing Layla's hand walking outside where we saw Niall and the boys waiting for me and Layla since were neighbors we take Layla home everyday from school

" y/n please wait " Ashley said grabbing my arm tightly

" get off of me " I said pushing her down the the ground as I heard my name being called by Niall

" y/n why would you do that " Niall said helping Ashley up

I didn't say anything I just cried holding onto Niall

" can we explain in the car " Layla said scratching the back of her neck as Niall nodded and we got in the car

All the boys asked what was wrong put I was to hurt and couldn't stop crying so I put my head on Nialls shoulder and he asked Layla explained everything

Layla POV

"Layla do you know what's wrong" Niall asked me as I nodded

" well you see our now ex-best friends made up a plan to use y/n just to see you boys and they wanted me to play along with there little game, but I didn't want to be fake to y/n because I love her and she's my best friend and I wasn't going to use her and then they said if I didn't then they would make up fake lies so that me and y/n wouldn't be friends anymore " I said as all the boys looked at each other angrily

" it's alright y/n don't worry we will get everything fixed no need to cry " Niall told her while rubbing her back as she wiped her eyes

" yea it's alright you've got me and I'm not going anywhere, I'll be with you no matter what " I told her as she sat up and smiled and hugged me

Once we got home I waved goodbye to them as I watched
y/n go into her house

Y/n POV:

since it was Friday I had no homework and all I wanted to do was relax on the couch and watch tv

" Niall I'm probably to old to be asking for this but can we cuddle for a bit " I asked nervously

" never to old for a good Horan cuddle " he said sitting next to me with his arm around my as I lay my head on his chest

" I love you y/n and if you ever have another problem with friends using you then you tell me immediately, alright " he said as I nodded actually falling asleep safe in his arms
