Niall Pov:
I was putting y/n's shoes on as she ate her snacks and watched her cartoons, tonight I was taking y/n out one more time before I had to leave tomorrow for a four month tour, but I'd be back for her 3rd birthday
I grabbed a few blankets and a few more snacks of course with some drinks and a light jacket for y/n, even though it's hot here in LA I put all the stuff in the car and came back for y/n
" ready to go " I said picking her up and turning off the tv " yes go now " she said giggling as I kissed her cheek waving to our parents
" bye mama bye dada " she said still giggling as they waved back and got in the car
We drove down hills that was kind of like a desert, tonight the starts were coming out and the sky was going to be beautiful,
it was now 6pm and the sun was slowly going down and people soon started showing up, I made a tiny cozy little space in the trunk for y/n when the star show started

It soon started getting darker and a few stars were visible but i decided to talk to y/n now before she wonders why I've left and won't be in my room when she wakes up tomorrow
" come here y/n/n " I said picking her up and sitting with her in the trunk " we needa talk " I said sitting her so she'd face me " okay ni ni talk " she said drinking out of her sippy cup
" so, ni ni has to go bye-bye tomorrow " i said afraid as she soon pouted " ni ni, no bye-bye " she said crossing her arms and pouting giving me a mad face
" im sorry y/n/n remember ni ni has to go sing for lots of people " I said as she nodded " no go " she said with a tear falling down her cheek " awe y/n " I said grabbing her and sitting her on my lap as I rocked her back and forth wiping her tear away
" ni ni go for awot time " she said with more tears slipping as she wiped her eyes and i kissed her head, " i promise ill be back, and I promise to call you everyday, and when I get back you know what ni ni always brings " I said as a big cute grin appeared on her face
" PWESENT " she said loudly " yes a present and if mama says you've been a good girl I'll bring you 3 presents " I said holding up 3 fingers as she gasped and nodded " I be good " she said resting her head on my chest
we talked alittle bit about me leaving and how if she behaved she could get presents and how she could always sleep in my shirts and wear my hats because that was her new thing, she wore my hats and clothes and shoes claiming she wanted to be like me which I found very cute
it was now 8 o'clock and y/n was getting fussy so I gave her the light green pacifier from her little backpack
Soon enough the stars were out and it was very beautiful to see " you know what those are y/n/n " I asked as she shook her head " those are stars " I said as she kept looking " staws " she said lisping around the pacifier so I took it out her mouth helping her say it
" look y/n say st- " " st- " " ar " " ar " " ss " " ss " " now say stars " " stawrs " she said giggling as I kissed her cheek
" i was surprised to see how fascinated she was to see the starts I thought she'd be bored we continued to watch the stars seeing a few shooting stars as y/n squealed and pointed when they flew by, a few minutes later she started yawning and climbed onto my lap holding on tight
" tired princess " I said as she nodded " go home n cuddle " she said mumbling taking the pacifier out then quickly putting it back in I nodded putting her in her car seat and cleaning up the mess in the back trunk
Once I finished I realize she was close to falling asleep so this smooth ride home would definitely put her to sleep, and once we got home I was right
I was going to put her in the crib until she clung onto my shirt and just decided to let her sleep in my room as I put her in a night pull up and in one of my old shirts
I laid there curling her soft hair and looking at all her tiny face features wondering how I'd survive this 4 month tour without her.
" i love you y/n " I said kissing her nose as she cuddled into my chest sucking on her thumb as i slowly hummed soft songs falling asleep myself with her safe in my arms
