"That's it...?" I heard him ask me, he sounded a bit surprised...or was it disappointed...? "Was that a question...?"

"What...?" I asked him, as if I had said something wrong. "It's smaller on the outside, bigger on the inside. It is impressive, very impressive.... Let me guess, alien technology...?! It just has to be." Nothing on Earth could really compare.

"Better. It's called the Tardis, T.A.R.D.I.S. That's Time And Relative Dimension In Space." He told me as he hit some buttons on the console which stood in the middle of the room.

My hand seemed to inch towards my necklace as I looked around the ship, an all too familiar voice seemed to race thoughts across my mind. Some heard, some not while I couldn't place what was said in others. Why wasn't I as impressed about this as he wanted me to be...? I couldn't help but to ask myself in reference to his strange box thing. His eyes seemed to scan me over before they landed on my necklace, my broken locket.

"That's a strange necklace." He pointed out to me as he flicked a switch on the console. A strange noise could be heard as the room started to shake, which caused me to grab a nearby rail, with both hands, as to not lose my balance. "Where on Earth did you get it...?"

"I-I don't know." I told him once the room became still once more. "I was found with it."

"What do you mean by found...?" He asked me, questioningly.

"One day, I woke up without any memories of who I was...the only thing I could seem to remember was a name and even then...." I told him, my voice trailed away at the end as I stayed silent for a moment longer before I continued. "My soon to be friend, Rose, and her Mother, saw me walking alone and offered to help me find my parents. That was six years ago and it's like they don't exist...anywhere but how can that be...? If I exist, shouldn't they...?" I didn't notice a stray tear fall from my eyes until he wiped it away. I brought my hand to my eyes and wiped away the rest. "S-Sorry." I instantly apologized after I wiped away the rest of my tears. "I don't even know why I told you, I just met you." I felt a bit awkward now as I had basically just told him my life story. "I...I think I should just go back home." I told him before I remembered why I even came in here to begin with. "Is it safe to leave...?"

He walked back over to his console as he looked at the monitor on it. "Yes." He told me, his voice suddenly sounded down...more so than it normally did.

I went over to the door before I opened one of them. The first thing I noticed was that we moved.... How...? I asked myself. Oh...right.... I told myself as if it were obvious. He didn't deny that this was alien technology and it also appeared out of thin air as if it had teleported there, so of course it just teleported somewhere where those monsters weren't at.

I turned around to face him one last time. "Thanks." I told him as I gained his attention. "For saving me, you didn't haft to...but you did. So, thank you." I turned back towards the door and just before I took a step outside, something seemed to stop me.

"Wait...!" I heard him hesitantly call out, it gained my attention and thus caused me to stop in my tracks.

"Hmm...?" I seemed to hum out, a not so silent way of asking him what he wanted.

"Why not travel with me...? Once I deal with these plastics, that is...?" He asked, questioningly.

"...I don't know...." I told him as I shut the door of the not so box-like box, not wanting the chance of anyone hearing our conversation even though the street appeared to be empty.

"Come on...you want to see worlds." He told me. "You said so yourself at the library. This is a spaceship, we could go anywhere in the universe."

"Anywhere in the universe and you choose Earth...?" I asked him.

"I like Earth, it's marvelous what mankind has done and will continue to do." He told me.

"I prefer reading, it's quite safer." I told him.

"Did I mention I have a library somewhere in here...?" He told me. "It contains not only some of the best from Earth, but also books from nearly every world I've been to."

"You make it so hard to say 'no', don't you...?" I asked him. "But...." I started to remember the friends I had here, which weren't that many but they they still mattered. Rose, Jackie, Mickey, and Helena. I couldn't just up and leave them. "I have people I care about...I can't just leave them."

"Did I mention that this is also a Time Machine...?" He asked me. "It'll be like you never even left."

I let out a huff of air before I next spoke. "Where to next...?" I asked him. "I trust you have a plan on how to kill these killer plastics...?"

A smile seemed to lighten up his face, although slightly, as he started pressing buttons and flicking switches on the console once more. "I have an idea on where to go, hold on tight!"

I went back over to the railing before the room started to shake once more as the ship hummed. It was moving once again, I hopped nowhere too dangerous but then again...we were dealing with seemingly living, murderous, plastic. I didn't know anywhere that was safe from them, plastic is everywhere. Litterally everywhere....
