Sol and I searched around the room for a brief second before she took the keys she had taken from the unconscious masked guy. She pushed her ear against the door, as if to listen to those on the other side of it...if there was anybody on the other side that is. She pressed her fingers towards her lips, a silent sign to stay...well silent. She silently placed the key into the lock before she unlocked the metal door. The door creaked open, ever so slightly, as the both of us looked through the small crack to the outside.

From what I could see, the room on the other side held four others as they sat around a table in the center of the room. Other than them, and the items on the table, which I recognized, the room was bare. Plain stone walls, mucked with dust, dirt, and cob webs. There was only one other door which could possibly lead out of the room, it was wooden but held four deadlock seals installed upon the door.

The guys around the table only seemed to have one thing in common, they looked like they were Humans...not Humanoid but Human. Even the guy that Sol had said almost killed me seemed to be a Human. They were sorting around the items on the table, which was both Sol and my's bags. They dumped Sol's bag onto the table first, what looked like some kind of phone landed on the table next to Sol's disk with this era's currency, and a bunch of pens and a tube of lipstick had fallen out of the bag as well. They then dumped my bag out onto the table, only my phone and the money disk fell out yet I knew that my sonic was also in there. Come to think of it...Sol's sonic should be in her bag as well...right...?

I looked at Sol, a questioning look on my face as I looked at the items upon the table the guys seemed to be messing with. 'Security measure.' Sol mouthed towards me, as if I should know what that means. I looked at the stuff at the table as the words Sol mouthed flew through my mind...and I found that I did know what they meant. Somehow, the bags seemed to be able to dump out only certain items if I'm not the one who takes them out.

'What do we do?' I mouthed towards Sol. She quietly shut the door before we went back over to the masked man inside with us, who seemed to be coming to. Sol stalked over the masked man, me following suit, before she took the mask off the guy.

His eyes looked on me with confusion before they turned towards Sol with a rage like hatred. "And I thought she'd be dead...what with how I handled her." He spoke calmly, almost mockingly.

Sol was not impressed with what he said as she grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. She then held him in the air, it looked like an almost impossible task with how Sol looked...she was definitely stronger than she looked. She made him look like a light bag of books...small books at that.

"You're lucky she didn't die...extremely luck...." Sol seemed to growl at him. "Cause if she did...you wouldn't want to see that anger."

"Are you not angry now...?" He seemed to ask, genuine fear in his voice.

"Anyone can always get angrier." Sol informed him as her voiced seemed to calm down. She then lowered him back to the floor, dropping him when he was only about a foot above the ground.

"Sol...?" I cautiously asked her as I placed my hand to her shoulder. She looked at me, her face seemed to calm down even more...until there wasn't even a shred left of anger on her face. I visibly relaxed as she calmed herself, her rage had made me feel uneasy, anxious, troubled...worried.

Sol seemed to take a deep breath as she calmed down even more, perhaps just her nerves as she did look a bit on edge. "Right.... Now...what are we going to do...?" Sol seemed to ask me before she turned her head to the door which blocked us and the rest of the masked kidnappers. "We can't exactly go out there and they could come in here at any possible moment, any second.... But wait...." Sol looked at the unmasked-masked guy she had tied up. "Why haven't they came in here already...? Couldn't they hear what was going on...?" The unmasked guy just smirked, obviously not wanting to answer Sol's question.

I looked at Sol as if she were a bit crazy as she paced around the small room. Sol went over to one of the walls before she inspected it.

"Of course...!" Sol exclaimed as she placed her hands against the wall. "These aren't made of just metal...are they...? Oh...and that noise...that nonstop buzzing...I thought my mind had made that up but no." Sol then turned around to face me. "Can you hear that...?"

"Hear what...?" I asked her. What buzzing was she talking about...?

"It must be a frequency so low that Humans are unable to hear it." Sol stated, sounding like she knew what she was saying.

Meanwhile, I was barely able to keep up with her rambles...much to my surprise.

"Which means that there are only so many things it could be...." Sol stated, she sounded deep in thought. "Oh...I got it...! It's a force field but it can't be one that physically blocks barriers...the frequency would be slightly different." She looked at the tied up unmasked-masked guy. "Which means...it's a sound barrier...the whole room is encased in a sound barrier."

"Which only means that nobody can hear your screams." He unmasked-masked guy responded.

"Nor yours." I butted into the conversation.

"I may be tied up...but what can you do against my friends outside...?" He responded.

"What...?" Sol asked him. "Your totally all Human friends...? I've been to places long since abandoned by the pages of history. I've been targeted by thing you wouldn't believe...things that are hundreds of thousands of times more powerful than all of you Humans combined...and you know what...?" She paused for a moment, most likely for a dramatic effect. "I'm still here...so what could you and your rag tag band of misfits possibly do to me...?! Well...? I'd love to know."
