"Wake up,"

Half asleep, I looked up to see Maddox and dad, the pair standing a good few feet away from each other.

"Oh, hey," I yawned, brushing my fingers through my hair, "Sorry,"

"It's okay," she giggled, "You look cu-you look tired,"

"I am,"

"Well don't fall asleep on your guest," dad said, "Am I good to go?"

"Yeah. I love you,"

"I love you too, have fun,"

He hugged me goodbye, smelling strongly of aftershave, then went downstairs and quickly left.

Maddox grinned and climbed into my bed, laying beside me to cuddle.

"You look cute when you sleep,"

"That doesn't sound creepy at all," I said, putting in a mint, "How was school?"

"Boring without you,"

"I bet,"

"No fun when you're not sat looking at someone wanting to kiss them,"

"Oh really?"

"I don't know how Julian copes,"

"Or Maja,"

"Maja wants to kiss everyone," she laughed, "And I wanna kiss you so wake up,"

"I had an ultrasound today!"

"I had double maths, alone,"

"You win,"

"I know," she said, kissing my cheek, "So can we?"

Grinning, I turned towards her and pressed myself against her as we kissed, forgetting all about my ultrasound.

Forgetting all about the stress of school.
And forgetting all about my frustration and fear for a bit.

Maddox made everything go away.

"So," she said, wiping lip gloss off my face, "How are you telling your dad?"

"Well he's asked for us to spend time together tomorrow, so I think I will tell him then. I'll wait until you're gone incase he flips out about me being in a relationship again,"

"In what way does he flip out?"

"He just gets worried and when he gets worried he can say stuff he doesn't mean,"

"But you'll be okay alone, right?"

"Yeah. Don't worry. Shall we watch tv?"

"Can we just cuddle?"

"With tv?" I asked.

"Fine. With tv, your highness,"

"Shut up!" I giggled, turning it on, "We still get to cuddle,"

"That's true, and I have been waiting for like two days,"

"That must've been hard,"

Playfully, she hit my shoulder, then held me close and rested her head on top of mine, because the reality was that we couldn't spend a second apart.

I knocked on Sierra's door and waited outside, flowers in my hand. Camellia's to be exact. Light pink ones.

"Hey,"

"Hi," I said, passing her the flowers, "These are for you,"

"Thank you, they're beautiful,"
