"Luce?" Tim called from the living room. "Are you ready yet?"

"Almost!" Lucy replied. Tim arrived at Lucy's apartment over an hour ago.

"We have to meet Angela and Wesley in 30 minutes, traffic is getting ugly,"

"Two more minutes," Lucy calls back.

Tim sighs as he checks his watch. He pulls out his phone.

Lucy is taking forever. Might be late. He texts Angela.

Relax. Angela replies. We haven't left either.

"Okay," Lucy says, emerging from her bedroom. "What do you think?"

Tim looks up from his phone. "Wow,"

Lucy frowns, "Do you not like it? I can change," she says.

She was wearing a floor-length black dress with a slit at the side, and black heels, her hair was curled and pinned back on one side, completed with a red lip.

"No, no," Tim says. "You look great,"

Lucy smiles, "Thank you," she giggles.

"Let's go, we are already running late,"

"You are such a stickler for arriving on time," Lucy teases, walking towards the kitchen to retrieve her purse sitting on the counter.

"Hey," Lucy says, tossing her wallet into her purse. "Where did you say we were eating again?"

"Some fancy Italian place on North Street. Angela and Wesley claim it's the best in the city,"

"Well if they think it's the best then we should prepare to pay a pretty penny for our dinner,"

"I knew that I shouldn't have let them decide where to eat,"

"If it were up to you we would be at a bar on a Sunday watching football,"

"Sounds perfect to me," Tim shrugs.

"Okay, we can go now," Lucy smiles, unlocking the front door.

"In our defense, we have kids," said Angela, sliding into the chair across from Lucy.

"Blah blah," Tim says, wiping a fake tear from his eye.

Angela makes a face at him before turning to Lucy. "Wanna hear about that one Halloween where he lost his uniform?"

Tim's eyes widen as Lucy begins to grin.

"Do tell," Lucy giggles.

"So he got dispatched to this loud party, walks in like he owns the place-- as Tim does-- and everyone thinks he's the stripper,"

Lucy bursts out laughing, turning towards Tim. "That is by far the funniest story I've heard about you."

"No, it is not," Tim grumbles.

"It's not?" Angela counters, raising an eyebrow. "I have more,"

"No, nope. That's enough," Tim says.

Lucy giggles, "Text me,"

Tim shakes his head as a waitress approaches the table.

"Hi, my name is Becca," she smiles. "Can I start you all with any drinks?"

"Wine?" Wesley offers to the others.

"Sounds good," Lucy says, scanning over the menu.

"Surprise us," Tim says, smiling back at the waitress.

"What are you going to eat?" Lucy asks, peering over at Tim's menu.

"I'm thinking one of the pasta dishes," Tim says.

"I'm torn between the bolognese and the carbonara," Lucy says, scanning the pasta list.

"Those sound good," Tim says. "Get both and share?"

"Perfect," Lucy smiles.

"I still can't wrap my head around the fact that you two are dating," Angela says, sipping her wine.

"Look at you and Wesley, you two were arguing out on the streets when you first met," Tim says.

"Well, opposites attract,"

"I could say the same for you two," Wesley adds.

Tim and Lucy face each other with a confused look. "I think that we are pretty similar," Lucy says.

"Okay," Angela says, putting both elbows on the table. "I'll ask you questions and we will see how similar you guys really are,"

Tim scoffed, "This is so stupid how can you--"

"Oh, so you do agree that you two are opposite?" Angela counters.

Tim's face drops, "Ask your stupid questions."

"Okay," Angela clears her throat. "Apples or grapes?"

"Apples," Tim says.

"Grapes," Lucy smiles.

Angela raises an eyebrow.

"Okay, that's not fair, you know I like apples," Tim says.

"Fine. Cakes or brownies,"

"Cake," says Lucy.

"Neither," says Tim.

"Case solved," Angela says, leaning back in her chair.

"Wait wait wait, we have other similarities," Lucy says.

"Humor me," says Angela.

"We both like dogs,"

"That's one thing,"

Lucy groans, "Maybe we are more different than we thought,"

"Again, case closed," Angela says.

Tim rolls his eyes, taking a sip of his water. "This didn't prove anything,"

"Face it, Tim. Lucy is very bubbly and bright and you're so...grumpy,"

Lucy covered her mouth to muffle a laugh.

"I am not grumpy," Tim says.

"Is Tim a morning person, Lucy?"

"No," Lucy's eyes widen. "It's like trying to drag a bear out of bed every morning,"

Angela suppresses a laugh, "Grumpy,"

"Are you for me or against me?" Tim says, looking at Lucy.

She links her arm around Tim's, "I think we should do more double dates, then I can hear more stories about you,"

"No."
