I watched as she placed the cigarette between her lips, inhaling the smoke. She watched me as the toxins released from her mouth. Her green eyes brought back terrible memories that still haunt me to this day. She had a small smirk tugging at the ends of her lips. All I saw was lust in her eyes, pure admiration. She was obsessed with me. It was sickening but it was my fault. I used her, the nights I would go to her for intimacy was just for my pleasure not because I actually cared.

I honestly didn't know how I was supposed to tell Y/n that. She would think so low of me, it would make her feel like I couldn't be in a committed relationship—Honestly I didn't know if I could've been in a relationship. The word was so foreign to me. I never had never had a girlfriend, ever. I didn't know what it felt like to be with a girl. I just didn't understand the point of it. Why be forced to be with someone forever? That's the question I used to always ask myself.

I liked being in control of my life, meaning I get to hook up with any girl that I want, and Leighton was one of those girls.

It's funny how one person can change your life, change the way you view life. Y/n was that person for me. She changed my whole perspective of life, all I want is to be with her, that's something I never felt about someone.

I watched as Leighton started walking up to me slowly, at that point I knew what I wanted and I wasn't going to let anything or anyone ruin it. I wasn't going to let her destroy my non existent relationship with the only girl I loved.

"Stop, just...what did you want to talk about?" I asked, she seemed shocked from my sudden aggressiveness. She said she wanted to talk to me & I decided to hear her out, before looking for Y/n. I knew that was a fucked up move but I knew that if I didn't hear what she had to say she wouldn't quit.

"I just wanted to see how you're doing I haven't seen you in almost a year." She said, she had a hopeful smile on her face. I couldn't help but look at her sideways, she was so fake. "Well, I'm fine as you can see." I said bluntly.

It was silent for a while, she seemed like she had something on her mind. I really didn't care, I just wanted to ease her into telling me the codes so she could just leave. "You & I know that this whole thing is stupid, you love me, you always did." She began, I looked at her with my face twisted in anger. I didn't understand how she thought she could say something like that to me.

"Okay fuck this." I sighed, I turned around heading toward the front door. I opened it, hoping she would get the hint and leave.

"Jason, I love you okay? I don't want you, I thought you felt the same way. Who the hell is that girl anyway." She hissed, I couldn't help but laugh. I ran my hands through my hair, sending her a bored look. "That girl is extremely important to me." I said, "You love her?" She asked, her voice cracked.

"What do you think?" I asked, she looked so angry, her lip was quivering and her eyes were becoming glossy. I thought i could tolerate her enough but I couldn't. Just watching her made me want to jump off the hotel balcony. "Jason you don't love her." She whispered, she was so angry. "But I do." I mumbled.

"Is this what you wanted to talk about, I—this is a waste of my time." I breathed, "No listen to me, Jason listen to me...I want you." She begged, a tear fell down her cheek which made me stop my sudden movements. "I know you love me too, I know we weren't in a relationship but what we had...it was more than just hooking up." She said. She watched me, waiting for a response. I didn't know what to say to her.

how about: I don't love you, just leave.

She wiped the tears from her cheeks, she placed a small strand of her hair behind her ear. I couldn't help but just study her movements. I couldn't say I loved her back because I didn't. I never did, I was incapable of loving someone. I watched as she reached in her pocket, pulling out something from her leather jacket.

She looked up at me, her expression was unreadable. I couldn't tell how she was feeling anymore. She grabbed my hand, placing an object in it. I wasn't sure at first what it was but then I realized it was a flash drive. I wasn't sure why she gave up & decided to give me the codes after all. I narrowed my eyes at her, I wasn't use to her being somewhat tolerable.

"Just know that..." She whispered slowly, she leaned into my ear. "I can pleasure you better than she ever will." She whispered, I felt her lip tugging on my ear, I instantly pushed her off of me, "You're disgusting, get out!" I yelled, I felt anger boil throughout my body. She made me feel sick, everything was a game to her. She didn't even "love" me she just liked making my life miserable.

She ran her fingers through her hair, "You know it's true." She said. "Blonde hair suits you, I like it." She remarked, I just watched her with a bored look. I was on the verge of physically throwing her out of my room. She walked up to me again, I felt her hand brush against my waist but I didn't think to much of it. I backed away, still holding the door open for her.

She sent me one last look before walking out the door and hopefully out of my life.

The next morning | 6:25AM

I woke up that morning without feeling the warmth of Jason next to me, I got up from the bed, slipping on a pair of his slippers.
Once I entered the kitchen I saw him sitting in the living room, eyeing the computer screen in front of him. "What are you doing?" I yawned, he was sitting on the sofa staring down at his lap top. It was 6:26 a.m. I was surprised that he wasn't in bed. Next to me. Holding me. Cuddling. His hair was wet so I guessed he just got out of the shower.

"I'm just looking for the codes, are you hungry?" He asked, glancing at me then back at the screen. "Not really." I shrugged, I walked into the kitchen pouring myself a glass of orange juice. "Where leaving Vegas soon." He said, his face was etched in concentration as he stared down at the computer. He wasn't really engaging with me fully.

I walked over to the spot on the sofa where he was sitting, he looked up at me sending me a cheesy smile. I couldn't help but smile back, he always did that cheeky smile for some reason. I scanned over the channels finally stopping when I saw Tina from bobs burgers on the screen. It was one of my favorite shows, it always made me laugh, no matter what state I was in.

Soon after I heard loud moaning noises coming from the computer, my eyes diverted to the large screen and I couldn't believe what I saw. The glass of orange juice fell from my hand, shattering instantly on the ground.

Jason slammed the computer shut, tugging at the strands of hair on his head,"Fuck!" He yelled, I quickly got up from the couch. My foot stepped on one of the sharp glass on the ground and my mouth reacted before my brain. I screamed out in pain, I watched as my blood dripped onto the carpet floor.

Jason grabbed my waist trying to help me up, "Don't touch me." I hissed, pushing him away.

I knew something happened between him & Leighton. I just wish I wasn't so naive. I thought.

A/N: have any ideas of what was on the flash drive Leighton gave to Jason. Also, vote if it took me way too long to update.
