CHAPTER 9.

"And then he gives me a smile that just seems so genuinely sweet with just the right touch of shyness that unexpected warmth rushes through me."

― Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games

HARRY'S P.O.V.

We wait outside Beth's house, Matt impatiently pressing the horn again and again. We've been waiting outside her house for at least 5 minutes and there is no answer from her. Matt started to curse by now, banging the horn.

"Calm down man." I move his wrist from the wheel, stopping him. He glares at me before looking up again. Finally, we spot her waving from the window motioning us that she'll be there.

"I'll be back." Megan hops out of the car, walking in Beth's house. Matt breaths out in frustration making me laugh.

It feels great to get such a good company. I just knew it was my looks; it was my confidence that I had to built to get such a good position. I wasn't surprised when Beth didn't recognize me at first, like she would have thought about me in these 3 years. She has changed a little. Her body got curvier; she got hotter than I last saw her. Her beauty was always in my mind, as far as I remember I cried when she left. She was the only girl I cried for and maybe I was a bit too sensitive back then.

Last night was amazing; I got to watch the best show ever. Watching Beth dance like that sure was a huge turn on. I wanted to beat the shit out from that guy; she already flirted with her so of course he'll follow. Hell, I was jealous of that, I hated that dare.

I didn't mean to make her feel bad by saying if she'll walk with the previous me. I know she felt bad, I know she felt uncomfortable near me because of the horrid past. But I tend to push it back and start a new relationship with her. Speaking of relationship,☆ The deal. That was the first thing I said to make her atleast realize that I remember her very well. I'm 19, she has turned 19 and a deal is a deal. But I have a feeling she still...you know...doesn't like me..but I'll change that, no worries.☆

"Sorry I'm late." Beth takes my attention, climbing in the jeep. I hesitantly look back, finding her already looking at me. She smiles which I couldn't help but return.

"You're always late." Matt huffs, starting the engine.

"Shut up and drive." She giggles a little. I couldn't help but watch her from the rear view mirror. How she sings along the music blasting in the vehicle, how show throws her head back in laughter, how she sticks her tongue out at Megan. You could just watch her all day and never get bored. Yup, I think she's that beautiful.

Matt punches my shoulder, breaking me from my small trance. I turn to him, rubbing my shoulder playfully.

"I think that's enough for now." He chuckles, referring to my creeping. I chuckle with him, my eyes again darting to the rare view mirror. This time catching her looking at me. My stomach flips when I find her looking at me.

She smiles before turning to the window. I return the smile looking outside the beautiful place around us.

I don't really predict anything from these 2 weeks. But I'm sure as hell I'll win the deal and get her sooner.

BETH'S P.O.V.

After unpacking everything from our baggage. I took a bath to freshen up a bit and changed into a simple tank top and some shorts.

Currently, we all are out in the beach enjoying the sunset. Walking near the shore has always been my favorite. I always come here just to think or relax. It feels nice how the wind blows and how your feet bat on the wet sand. I don't know I just love it.
