I slumped down on my bed, nearly pulling out all my hair in frustration. My eyes scanned my luggage once more, wrecking my poor brain on what to wear to Nicholas' house. Rolling my eyes, I flopped face-down on my bed, using the pillow to cover my head as I moaned.

A smirk could be heard from the door as I immediately looked up, seeing Adam at the door, arching an eyebrow at me. Frowning at him, I threw the pillow in my hand towards him. Catching it mid-air, my frowned deepened as a chuckle escaped from his lips.

"Is it me or you never learn?" A smirk filled his face once again as he walked towards my bed and placed the pillow down. "You never learn how to throw a pillow properly. If I'm not wrong, something similar to this happened in the first few days of our stay..."

I frowned.

He smirked again before looking into my eyes, "So what's the matter? Why do you look so annoyed? It's scary you know." He cracked a smile, making me shake my head.

"I don't know what to wear." I groaned, flopping on the bed once again, exasperated.

"Then don't wear... Just kidding." He smirked, running his hands through its hair as noticed the death glare I was sending in his direction. Throwing his hands up in surrender, I frowned once again before attacking him, pinning him down on my bed as I shot him a death glare.

"Don't. You. Ever. Say. That. Again. If. You. Value. Your. Life." I said, stressing on each and every word.

"Yes Ma'am!" He replied as he struggled under my grip, before finally relaxing, sending a sweet smile in my direction, leaving me utterly confused.

"Why am I even struggling eh? Shouldn't I be enjoying-" He said, making my eyes widen as I realize what he was going to say.

"Oh Lord, Adam, what's gone into you?!" I groaned, throwing myself off him as I sat on my bed, crossing my arms while sulking.

Adam chuckled softly before walking towards my luggage, hands on his hips as he scanned through my clothes. A grin tugged his lips as he bent down, holding a black sequined dress in his hands. "What about this?"

"Hm, is it a little..." I replied, seeing him arch his eyebrow. "Agh, never mind. I'll wear that." I continued, walking towards him as passed me the dress. "Thanks."

Excusing myself to the toilet, I quickly got changed. Looking into the mirror, I gave a long sigh. In 30 minutes, I was going to deal with Nicholas.

Taking in a deep breath, I unlocked the door, walking out. Adam was sitting on my bed, eyes widening as he gazed at me in awe. "Damn, you look-"

"Amazing. Awesome. I know." I chuckled softly, before thanking him, only to see him shaking his head, impressed. Making my way to the dresser, I quickly put on my makeup. After getting ready, I turned around facing Adam. "We can walk there. It's not far from here." I said.
