I'm done giving him second chances, just for him to throw them away.

"Y/n, I'm sorry." He whispers, holding my wrist slightly. "I-I didn't mean for this to happen."

I can't look him in the eyes right now, so I settle at staring towards his shoes. But not looking at him doesn't keep me from saying;

"Sorry doesn't cut it this time. You came in here shouting last night, and if you hadn't noticed, you've scared B. You've scared her so much the past couple weeks Gerard, she won't come out of her room if she knows you're here. She's five, she shouldn't be scared of her father. I hate to admit this, but I don't think you're you. I fell in love with the nerdy musician that was loving and open with me Since high school. But, the more I look at you? The more I realize I no longer see that guy."

"As much as it hurts me to say, I think you're right. I don't just think you're right, I know you're right. You've been so kind ever since I met you, giving everyone multiple opportunities to fix their mistakes. And you're right, Bandit shouldn't have to go through this. Neither should you.." He pauses, and I look up to him.

We're both crying, tears falling from our eyes at an awkward pace, realizing everything that's wrong with our marriage. I wrap my arms around his neck, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I'm so, so sorry." He whispers, nuzzling his face into my shoulder, "I truly am."

"It's okay. We just need some work." I answer, feeling his arms wrap around my waist.

"I'm going to get better, I promise."
