Chapter 37- Heart Beat
Tyler's POV

I leave the washroom to see Jessica in the middle of the room with eyes wide and her phone on the floor. She was stunned. Not after a few seconds she dropped on the floor unconscious. My eyes widen and rush towards her, picking her up in my arms,

"Jessica wake up!" I rub her palms and pat her cheeks, just to get her eyes to open. She laid still in my arms, not blinking. I was scared shitless! What happened to her? I place her on the bed and rush to the bedside table and get some water, splashing some drops onto her face. She started blinking and slowly sat up. She looked at me and hugged me tight, sobbing onto my chest.

"Jess, babe, what happen? You're scaring me! Tell me what happen," I place my finger under her chin and lift her face up, looking into her watery eyes. "Jessica, what happen?"

"M-mom's in the hospital," she sobbed, my eyes widening at what I heard. She abruptly stood up and got a bag from the closet and started stuffing some clothes in it. "What're you doing?" I ask,

"I'm gonna go to Italy. I need to see her," she replied,

"I'm coming too," she looked at me for a minute before going back to packing. I stood up and quickly changed into a hoodie and jeans. She hurriedly wore her jeans and a jacket over her tank top, ready to leave. I stuffed of my clothes in her bag before watching her breakdown again,

I pull her into a hug and try to calm her, "shhh babe, it's gonna be alright. She's gonna be alright." I make her look at me, "stop crying ok?" She nods. I pick up the bag, take her hand in mine, and leave the room walking downstairs.

I took my phone and call Austin's number, "Sup Tyler!"

"Austin I need you to drive to my house as fast as you can and drive me to the airport,"

"What! Why?"

"No questions, just come quick,"

I hung up and stood in front of the door with her next to me. In less than ten minutes, Austin's car was in front of the house. We enter the car, facing a worried looking Austin and Bella, "guys, care to explain?" Austin started,

"We're going to Italy." I replied, to which Bella's eyes widened, "what? Why?" She asked,

"Austin start driving-" and he did as I said so, "her mom's in the hospital," as soon as they heard that, Jess started sobbing again. I pull her into my arms and place her head on my chest. "Babe stop crying, she'll be alright."

"She will be alright Jess, please stop crying," Austin said,

She started having hiccups and continued sobbing on my shoulder. I passed her a bottle of water, and she gulped it like she wouldn't ever get her thirst quenched again. Soon in a while, she went into a deep slumber.

We rush through the doors of the hospital, almost bashing into the reception desk. "My mother, where is she?" Jess asked with tears streaming down her face,

"Excuse me?" The receptionist asks with confusion

"I'm sorry, which room is Jenine Stewart in?" I asked,

"Oh, first floor down the hall, you can take the elevator." Jessica runs towards the elevator while I thanked the receptionist. Jessica stood impatiently in front of the elevator, waiting for it to reach down. A few seconds later she ran up the stairs and I ran behind her.

She runs down the hall and into the room, falling as she did so. I helped her regain her balance, allowing her to run towards the bed where her mother lay still, face looking pale and lips a shade of blue.

"What happened to her? Why is she here?" Jess asked,

Theo looked at her with sadness, as he looked between her and his mother. "She uh, she was choked, by umm..." he looked up to see me, and his mood shifted from sadness to anger in a split second.

"What the fuck is he doing here?" Theo Spat. He took a step forward towards me when Sam places a hand on his chest to stop him, "leave before I call the cops," he said,

"But-"

"Just LEAVE!!" He screamed,

"What the fuck is happening?" Jessica asked in confusion,

"The reason behind mom being here is because of Tyler's dearest mother, Sera Myers"

"What!" Me and Jessica said in unison,

"Yes Jess, his mother did this to her because mom exposed her and her illegal business of exports. His mother is the reason behind mom's condition right now." Theo completed, making Jessica look at me in disbelief,

She walked towards me but was stopped by her mother's fast, sharp breathing.

"Mom, mom, somebody call the fucking doctor!!" She screamed,

Sam ran out of the door, pushing me in the process of it, and walked back in with a doctor when suddenly, her heart beat reading on the screen turned into a single line...

"NO!!"

Hey...guys. So umm, how're y'all doing huh? *scratches neck awkwardly* so yeah, I'm back, after such a long, long time. So I haven't written anything for months now, literally many months. It is because, I thought the books were...shit. Not Wattpad worthy. So, I stopped writing. But then, I'm here now, and Idek why, so might as well just finish the book. Anyways, sorry guys...
