The night wasn't over, it was only 11 o'clock and I wasn't ready to call it a night, and apparently neither was Jake.

"You want to go for a bite?" He asked me breaking the silence that took over the car after we finished our little kissing sesh.

"Um, sure. I'd love too. You didn't share enough of your popcorn with me." I teased.

"What are you talking about? You ate like three quarters of the box! And we got the big one!"

"I did not." I called out embarrassed, when in fact, I had eaten more popcorn than him, but I was just so hungry and hadn't had anything to eat since we had lunch at Liv's.

"So, would you like to go to I HOP? I don't know any other restaurants that aren't fast food chains that are open this late at night."

"Oh yes, I would love some pancakes, let's get going." I said as I heard him turn on the engine and start backing up the car to get out of the parking space.

When we were finally out of the parking lot, because of course there was a line of cars full with all of the people that had just swarmed out of the game, it was already 11:30. It didn't even bother us that we were stuck in that parking lot for 30 whole minutes, we just kept on talking, goofing around and Jake kept stealing kisses from me, not that I complain or anything.

As soon as we got to the restaurant we both got out of the car pretty quickly, I guess we were both starving. Being the gentleman that he is he opened the door to the restaurant for me and then waited until I sat down on the booth to sit down. How cute was he?

"Wait, before we order, let me just text my mom real quick to let her know I'm going to get home late, I don't want her to worry like last time."

"Yeah, I'ma text my mom as well." How sweet.

"Aww, I almost forgot you had a curfew as well." I answered before shutting up when I saw his face, he hated it when I teased him about his curfew.

Me: Hey mom, the game is over but we're starving is it okay if we go out for a bite before heading home?

I learned that with my mom, as long as you ask permission to do something, she'll let you do it. So I didn't tell her we were already at the restaurant about to order.

Mom: Sure, honey. Have a great time. You have your keys right?

Me: Thanks mom. Yeah I have my keys, I'll let myself in don't worry.

Mom: Great, don't forget to lock the door.

Me: I won't.

It was only one time, that I'd forgotten to lock the door behind me, ONE time, in the past 16 years of my life. So now every time I'm going to let myself in she has to remind me to close the door, like, I know mom, I have done it the past 1000 times, it was just one night, I was too tired to remember.

"There, all done." I announced as I put my iPhone down.

"Me too. So are you ready to order?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Yep." He motioned for the waitress to come over and take our order. "You go first Ems." Aww such a cutie.

"I'll have the chocolate pancakes, in a combo, with scrambled eggs, bacon and the hash brown." I told the waitress as she wrote it all down."Oh and a regular Pepsi as well, please."

"I'll have the Breakfast sampler please, with chocolate milk." Jake told her as she just kept staring at him , like every other girl did. I couldn't help it but be a little jealous, I mean, that was my man right there. Wait, no, not my man, I actually didn't know where we stood, were we in a relationship now that we've kissed or are we still just friends? Gosh, I'm so confused right now.
