I parked at the school. I unbuckled and Derek grabbed my arm.

"Just me," he said slowly.

"Derek, you can barely walk-"

"I'm fine," he demanded.

"Fine, but if you're not back in a half hour I'm looking for you."

He looked at me and then slowly walked out.

I drummed my fingers on the steering wheel waiting.
I was never good with waiting, making me ever so anxious.

A half hour passed and Derek still wasn't out.

I sighed and looked around.

I swore if he wasn't out in five minutes I was going to lose it.

I cursed and opened the door and got out when I saw him walking in the parking lot and stopping Stiles's Jeep.

I saw him collapse and I ran over.

I quickly bent down to his side, making sure he hadn't hit his head.

"What the heck? What are you doing here?" Scott asked, running over.

"I was shot," Derek groaned.

"He's not Iooking so good, dude," Stiles mentioned.

"Why aren't you healing?" Scott asked.

"I can't. It was a different kind of bullet," he finished as I helped him up.

"A silver bullet?" Stiles asked, almost excited.

"No, you idiot," Derek snapped.

"Wait," Scott said. "That' what she meant when she said you had 48 hours."

"What? Who said 48 hours?" I asked.

"The one who shot him."

Derek groaned in pain and his eyes flashed blue.

"What are you doing?" Scott quickly whispered. "Stop that."

"That's what I'm trying to tell you. I can't."

"Help me put him in your car," Scott told Stiles.

I helped Scott carry Derek into the passenger seat as Stiles ran into the driver seat and I sat in the back.

" I need you to find out what kind of bullet they used," Derek told Scott.

"How am I supposed to do that?"

"She's an Argent. She's with them."

"Why should I help you?"

"Because you need me."

"Fine, I'II try."

"Scott," I said, sitting up looking at him. "I swear if you don't because you're having sex and he dies, I'm cutting your little guy off."

Scott sighed, turning to Stiles. "Hey, get him out of here."

"I hate you for this so much."

Stiles put the car in drive and sped off.

I kept my eye on Derek and the other on the road.

"Come on," Stiles whined. "Try not to bleed out on my seats, okay? We're almost there."

"AImost where?" Derek asked.

"Your house."

"What? No, you can't take me there."

"I can't take you to your own house?"

"Not when I can't protect myself."

"If you failed to remember you and Scott kinda told everyone where he is now," I added and Stiles glared at me through the rear view mirror.
