Colby kissed my cheek, then leaned away and laughed, making me blush. I swear I never used to blush this much.

"Shut the fuck up." I muttered, turning back to the stove.

I made me a plate and sat down at the kitchen bar to eat. I felt Colby's eyes on me, and glanced up to meet his gaze.

"Can you not watch me eat? It's weird."

His eyes flashed before he rolled them at me. "Everybody eats." He replied. "But fine, I'll just go sit over here by my lonesome and watch YouTube on my phone while you stuff your face."

I glared at his back as he walked over to the couch. Back to being annoying I see.

"Hey, thanks for taking me to bed last night." I blurted out.

He glanced over to me and nodded.

"No problem. Did you know that you talk in your sleep?"

Oh God NO. My entire head was going to burst into flames from the intense blush I felt creep up my cheeks.

"No, I don't."

He grinned again, an annoying one this time, because he knew he was embarrassing me. "Oh you do. So what were you dreaming about last night?"

I turned back to my food, breaking the eye contact. "I don't remember so it must not have been very interesting."

"Oh that's cold considering you were saying my name."

I whipped around in my stool, almost flipping it. "You're lying!" I exclaimed.

He laughed and touched his tongue to the bottom of his top teeth.

"Got no reason to lie about that. I really wanna know what you were dreaming about though."

I ignored him and turned back to my food, scarfing it down as fast as I could. I was feeling awkward as hell right about now, and I needed a steaming hot shower to help me relax.

I wish I could remember my dream too though. I think it was basically the same as the last one that I had about Colby. Us on the balcony, kissing passionately...it was a little different this time, because he told me that I wouldn't remember it. Couldn't remember what happened after that. Whatever, it was just a dream. A weird intense dream, but still a dream.

When I finished, I put my plate in the sink and headed towards my room.

"I'll be ready soon. Gonna jump in the shower." I yelled out, before shutting my bedroom door.

I showered quickly and brushed my teeth thoroughly, trying my best to hurry, because I was actually excited to go back to Colby's place this time. I needed to talk to Kat, in person, about what happened between Colby and I...and I had a feeling that she and Sam might've finally gotten to know each other a little better. She had told me that they hadn't had sex yet, but she thought it was about that time. I needed details!

When I finished getting dressed, and doing my hair and makeup (took me a little longer than usual...okay, I wanted to look extra nice!) I walked back into the living room.

"What time did you want to head back to your place?" I asked, watching his head turn away from his phone up to me.

I felt a great sense of female pride when his jaw went slack and his eyes widened, his pupils contracting. His intense blue eyes traveled slowly from my face, all the way down my body, and all the way back up again. The pride dissolved into a puddle on the floor with the rest of my body from that look. Fuck. He looked like he wanted to devour me, and I was willing to let him.

I had picked one of my favorite casual outfits. An off the shoulder, tight black tshirt with 'Wear Black, Drink Blood' written in Gothic white letters across it, paired with ripped, short black shorts, with sheer black leggings, and my fave thick black studded boots.

Okay, so I liked the color black too, and I thought that Colby might appreciate it. I had thrown on my silver Figaro chain, and a few different silver and black bracelets to finish off the outfit. I felt good.

He cleared his throat, staring at my shirt.

"Um...nice shirt."

I laughed. "I had a Twilight faze. Vampires are hot."

His eyebrows shot up into his hair. "Really? You think vampires are hot?"

I shrugged. "Who doesn't? Every girl likes the bad ass scary guy that turns into a softy just for her."

A sexy ass grin lifted his cheeks, before he bit his lip, then slowly released it. My cheeks flamed up when I realized that I was basically talking about him and I with that sentence. Damn it.

"You wanna go now? I wanna see Kat."

Before long, he was leading me into the house that I had run out of last time I was here. I had texted Kat on the way, telling her that I was coming but didn't get a reply. Weird...and I was a little worried because she always answered me back.

When we walked in, I heard yelling coming from the bar room. Kat's voice rang out clear through the open area.

"Have you ever used it on me Sam? Have you?"

Sam's voice was pleading when he answered her. "Katrina, of course not! I would never!"

"Um, why don't we go to the garage?" Colby asked, pulling me away from that room.

"No!" I said, shaking him off. "She sounds upset. I need to see if she's okay."

"Kat, please! I haven't done anything! I just wanted you to know the truth, and hoped that you could accept me for who or what I am." I heard Sam beg her again.

What the hell did he mean by 'what' he is? Curiouser and curiouser. I felt like I was in a twisted version of Wonderland sometimes with these guys.

"Seriously Chloe. This sounds like a private conversation. Let them finish and you can check on them later, okay?"

I heard Kat crying, and Sam speaking in a whispered tone, but I couldn't make out the words. Maybe Colby was right.

I let him pull me away, telling myself that I would check on her soon.
