As we walked along the trail, about two miles from Konoha, I heard a rustling sound. I quickly turned around, but saw no one at all. Strange. Maybe I'm just hearing things?... "Boruto, what's wrong?" Sarada asked me. I looked at her "I thought I heard something, but it must be my imagination" I said cautiously. Mitsuki looked around. "I don't think it's your imagination, Boruto, because I heard something too" Konohamaru sensei overheard us and checked to see if anyone was around."I don't hear or sense anyone" He said. "I don't know about you guys, but I have a feeling we're being followed..." I said. Sarada and Mitsuki nodded in agreement.
For the past 3 minutes, nothing had happened. I suddenly heard more rustling. I threw my kunai knife at a bush where I heard the sound. A cat yowled and ran out of the bush where I had thrown my kunai knife. It's tail was grazed. "AH!!, Sorry Mr. Cat!" I said, hugging it. The cat started purring. Mitsuki came up to me. He then petted the cat. "Don't you think we should help it's wound?" I nodded. Sarada sighed "Boruto, you are a damn idiot. You could've killed the poor thing!" I made a embarrassed face "I didn't know. " I looked back at the cat, It's eyes were a glowing green color and it had gray fur. "Hmm.." I said, looking at its tail. Sarada gently wrapped a bandage around the cat's tail after Konohamaru sensei placed a ointment on the tail to help heal it. "There! Now your good to go" Sarada said, releasing it from her arms. But the cat quickly rushed to me. It mewed and purred at my leg. "It likes you, Boruto" Mitsuki said, smiling.

I didn't make a face, or pretty much do ANYTHING. Then, the cat jumped onto me "He-HEY!" I yelped, feeling it's claws go into my skin. It climbed onto me, until it was on my head. It layed on top of my head and purred. Sarada smiled and Konohamaru sensei laughed "It seems to like you a lot, Boruto!" I made a face "Y-yeah..." The cat stood there, on top of my head, as we decided to keep going and take the cat with us. "How about you name it so we don't keep on having to call it 'It ' " Sarada said. I thought for a moment. "How about Midori?" I said. Mitsuki nodded. "That could be it's last name, it's full name should be 'Gurē Midori' " Sarada then said "That would be a great name! Since Gurē means 'Gray' and Midori means 'Green' " I nodded "We're calling you Midori now! " I said to the cat. Midori meowed happily, as if he could understand us. Konohamaru sensei says it's a male, because he's bigger than the females. "Ok, Midori, welcome to Team 7!" I said. "MEOW!" Midori mewed.
