"Did I ever make you feel like you didn't matter when we were dating?" Jack asks, watching as Camila picks up some parsley before putting it in the cart. "Or that I mattered more than you?"
Camila purses her lips, trying to think. "Not until the fight that caused us to break up." She finally says, smiling softly so that he knows that there are no hard feelings.
Jack blinks a few times. "Oh okay." He mutters, ducking his head a little as he and the shorter girl continue to walk around the grocery store.
"Thanks for coming by the way." Camila chirps, trying to change the topic away from their past relationship.
He grins in return. "You hate going shopping by yourself. Plus, we didn't have basketball practice today and everyone else was busy?"
"So I'm your last choice?" Camila looks at him with a jokingly offended look on her face and he laughs.
"Maybe a little."
She nudges him and jokingly rolls her eyes. It's quiet between the two until she speaks up again. "How do you feel about the whole Madonna lesson?"
