Ray's pov
As much as I hate to admit it, Captain Darkness is winning. Mika and Bose were tied in ropes and none of the kid's powers were even remotely effective against him.
This guy could predict our every move, dodge every punch, avert every kick.
It's like he's one step ahead of us.
I was panting heavily as I saw him tie Chappa and Miles. Once he did, something in me snapped. I'd be damned if I allowed these kids to get hurt.
The guilt of Henry's- death still burned me and I don't think I can stand going to another funeral.
PUNCH!
But even when I'm trying my best, I've barely landed punch on him when he's landed many on me.
KICK!
I groaned in pain as I bent back, clutching my stomach.
PUNCH!
KICK!
PUNCH!
KICK!
I was a mess at this point. Despite me being indestructible, I could barely move from the pain.
I was thrown beside the fountain, I've never felt this much physical pain in my life before.
"Pathetic." Captain darkness said.
He then started heading towards the kids, who looked at him in fear. He pulled out a gun and that's when I realized what he's going to do.
"WAIT! STOP! SHOOT ME! Don't shoot them! They're just kids!" fear swallowed me, I haven't felt this scared since Henry.
He looked at me then tilted his head, " Alright." He headed towards me while Danger Force was shouting, "NO! RAY!"
"But first, I would like you to meet some allies of mine, you might know them."
I froze as I saw Rick Twitler and Drex slowly come out of the bushes with evil, cheshire grins.
"Hello Ray," Drex said.
"Nice to meet you." Rick Twitler added.
