"(Y/n)!"

My eyes snapped open and I gasped, I stared at the sky as I caught my breath.

"(N/n)..." I glanced at the side and saw Eren, laying down with me.

He slowly lifted his body up and grunted as he did so. Mikasa stopped him but he didn't listen.

Eren gently pulled me to him and embraced me. I placed my chin on his shoulder as he hugged me.

"I'm glad that you're awake... I-I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you. I thought you were..!" Eren tightened his hug on me and I blinked. I soon heard silent sobs and hiccups from him.

"Eren is... crying?"

"I'm sorry. You're hurt because I wasn't fast enough. I'm sorry I couldn't reach you and the others on time. It was all my fault..! If I only didn't listened to them we should've ca-"

I cut Eren off by breaking the hug and leaning my forehead against his with my eyes closed.

"It's not your fault." I whispered.

"Don't blame yourself for what's happened." I whispered again.

"But you were..! The others are..!"

"This isn't your fault."

"But Eld-san and Gunther-san are..!"

"I know..." I could feel tears built up in my eyes.

"I'm-"

"Shh.."

I slowly opened my eyes as tears flowed down my eyes and stared at Eren's glossy emerald green eyes.

My chest tightened seeing him crying and it hurt. I cupped his cheeks and wiped his tears away.

"It's not your fault, okay? Don't ever blame yourself. You didn't know what the outcome would be. So please, stop." I softly said and slowly pulled my head away.

"It was my fault. I know all of that will happen, but I didn't change a thing."

"And I'm okay now, alright? I'm here, alive. With you." I said and pushed his hair away out of his eyes.

Eren held my hands and pulled it down but didn't let go. He wiped his tears and nose away and nodded.

"Sorry..." he whispered.

I just sent a sad smile at him and kissed his forehead, then I looked at Mikasa.

"Are you okay, Mikasa?" I asked and she gripped her scarf.

"I should be asking you that... you're almost covered in bandages!" Mikasa said, her voice is a bit trembling and full of worry.

I looked down and saw my arms were covered in bandages and my jacket was on the side. My eyes slightly widened when I saw a blue campanula flower beside it.
