"I assume Levi has already informed you, correct?" Erwin asked and I nodded.

It was the next day, Erwin called me for a meeting with them. We're currently in his office.

"Yes, but are you sure about this? Annie is being held down underground." I nervously said.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see Annie again and I owe her a visit. It's just that I still have mixed feelings for her.

"Yes. Hange and I think that she could help you with your hardening abilities, if she cooperates with us that is." Erwin said and gave me a paper.

"She might be under the Survey Corps' custody, but she will still be imprisoned for Mass Murder, Treason, and Kidnapping." Erwin said as I read the paper he gave me about Annie's imprisonment.

"Torturing is out of the picture, correct?" I asked and looked at them, specifically Hange.

'Whoa- don't look at me like that! I would never!!" Hange said and grinned at me.

"But yes, she will not be tortured." Hange added and I sighed in relief.

"Okay..." I muttered.

"How long will she stay in prison?" I asked.

"That is still undecided." Erwin answered.

"If she agrees to help you with your hardening ability, she will be given a month out of prison with soldiers guarding her. In that month, she will help you with your ability." Erwin told me.

"If not, we'll think of something else or you can leave Eren to do all the hardening duties." Erwin said and I flinched.

"I know I can do it! Please, give me a chance!" I exclaimed, surprising him and the others.

"(Y/n), you don't have to force yourself." Hange said and frowned.

I shook my head and looked at them.

"If I can master my hardening, sealing both Wall Maria and Shiganshina will be much faster. Eren doesn't have to do it twice!" I said.

"Let's give it a shot, Commander!" I told Erwin.

"If you can persuade her to help you, Levi and the others will be there to watch over the two of you during experiments." Erwin said and he lowered his back to my eye level.

"Can you do it?" Erwin asked.

"Yes." I answered

"Good. After all of that, we'll interrogate her about everything she knows about Titans and where she came from before our mission of reclaiming Wall Maria." Erwin said, making my eyes widened for a second.

I blinked before nodding. "Okay..." I muttered and looked away.

"(Y/n)! It's been a while since we've seen each other!" Petra said and gave me a hug.

I hugged her back and Oluo placed his hand on his hips.

"You sure like being kidnapped, huh? Problem child." Oluo clicked his tongue.

"Aizawa much?"

Petra broke the hug and elbowed Oluo on his side.

"Don't be like that! She must be stressed out, you know! She's still a kid!" Petra scolded him and I smiled at them.

"Here." I said and gave them a paper bag full of donuts.

"Oh my, thank you (Y/n)." Petra thanked me.

"And it's okay, Petra-san. I think that will be the last time Eren and I will be kidnapped." I said and smiled.
