"It'll only be a month away before we go back to war again, huh?"

Reiner muttered as he watched the four candidates have a sparring practice. It's been four years since he's been out of that 'hellhole' of an island.

The only one who managed to get back home alive. He already lost Marcel before they could even get to the walls, he lost Annie from the chase and thinks that they already had her Female Titan, he and Bertholdt manage to bring back the Jaw Titan from Ymir but the cost is that Bertholdt got caught by the survey corps and Zeke has to save his ass to retreat.

Was it worth it? No. If he listened to Annie back then to go back home and find the Jaw, things would've been fine, he doesn't have lost both of his comrades.

"Hm! I'm sure this time, we'll be able to win this four-year-long war." Colt's voice snapped him out of his thoughts and glanced at him.

"Maybe after that, I'll be able to walk normally again without using these crutches," Pieck whined with a small smile on her face as she leaned onto the wooden railing.

"Seriously, you need to stop crawling everywhere." Porco sighed, making Pieck's smile widen and hummed.

"Can't help it~"

"I heard they will have a trainer," Colt spoke up, gesturing to his younger brother and the other three, "The new Marleyan that joined last two months ago."

"A Marleyan?" Reiner frowned and Colt nodded at his response.

"Yes. That is what I only heard from Commander Magath." Colt said.

"Why do they need a trainer when we can train them ourselves?" Reiner questioned and glanced at the four kids.

"I'm not sure either, but it will probably be interesting." Zeke leaned his back on the wall, crossed his arms to his chest, and smiled.

"Well, I hope he's not an asshole. Oh, what am I even thinking? Of course, he will be. He's a Marleyan, training some 'Eldian' like them will be a pain for them." Porco rolled his eyes and faced his back on the railing, resting his back and elbows on it.

Pieck furrowed her brows from what Porco said, also couldn't help but be worried for the kids.

Footsteps caught their attention, except for Reiner who was deep in thought as he watched the kids train, and they glanced at it to see a tall man walking in their direction.

They noticed that he wasn't wearing any armband on his left arm or an Eldian badge on his collar, showing that he was a Marleyan.

They then stood up straight, except for Zeke, as he got closer but he didn't even share a single glance at them, silently relieving them.

"He's just passing by..." The three thought and relaxed as the tall male walked past Colt. Zeke only stared at the tall male with his hands on his coat pocket.

"Hey, you don't think that-" Reiner's breath hitched when he noticed Levi walked past him when he turned around, making him tightly grip the man's wrist.

"What are you-"

Reiner didn't manage to finish his sentence as he suddenly fell on his back with a loud thud in an instant, making him widen his eyes in shock and pain.

Everything then suddenly stopped for Reiner as he felt something familiar from it. On how (Y/n) threw him off guard by pretending she tripped forward and launched him towards the buildings with her legs.

"There's no way-?!" Reiner scrambles up and glances at the male to see that it wasn't Levi, it was someone else.

"What do you think you're doing, huh?" the tall male glares down at him with his piercing (e/c) colored eyes.
