Christmas came around and Lilith was packing her trunk to go home for the holidays. She is very happy that she gets to see her grandfather, and even Draco and his family are planning on staying over.  Placing the last of her things in the trunk, she closes it with a charm and starts heading down to the common room.

Getting to the bottom of the stairs, she sees Draco waiting for her and standing next to Severus. Draco was going home with them, and his parents were going to be joining them the next day.

Severus smiles, "Ready to go, you two?".

They respond, "Yes daddy" "Yes Uncle Sev".

The two of them grab onto one of his arms and the three apparate. They arrive in the living room of the Riddle Manor. Lilith sighs, just glad to be back home. They hear a set of footsteps coming down the stairs. She giggles to herself and starts running towards the sound, knowing exactly who it was.

She wraps her arms around them, "Grandpa! I missed you".

Tom laughs and cradles her head, "I've missed you too, sweetheart".

He leads her back into the living room, where Severus and Draco are waiting, Lilith not wanting to let him go. The boys laugh quietly at the two and Severus walks up to them, giving Tom a side hug; since his other arm is currently occupied.

Tom smiles, "Severus, my boy. Good to see you".

"Good to see you too, father".

Tom holds his arm out towards Draco, "Draco, very good to see you".

Draco hugs him, "Good to see you too, Tom".

The four of them sit on the couches, Lilith still holding onto Tom. She snuggles her head into his chest and wraps her arms around him a little tighter. Tom smiles and pulls her closer, noticing that she is starting to drift off.

Severus smiles, "You alright with her like that, father?".

Tom laughs and turns to him, "Quite alright, son".

Draco smiles, "She's really missed you. The first couple of days were pretty hard on her, but me and our friends have been helping her".

"Thank you, Draco. In all honesty, I suspected the change and the distance would be a bit of a problem. That's primarily why Severus and I organised the mirror for her". He turns to Severus, "How is she with her classes?".

He sighs, "Both her and Draco are perfect students in Potions, and from what I've heard, she's been doing pretty good in her other classes as well".

Draco interjects, "Although, both of us have had some...unpleasant interactions with some students".

Tom turns to Draco, "Care to elaborate?".

He sighs, "It's been Weasley, Granger and Potter for the most part. Granger mostly seems to want to target Lia, always saying it's not fair for her to be at Hogwarts since she's the daughter of a professor and calling her entitled".

Severus widens his eyes, "Why haven't either of you told me?".

"I wanted to, Uncle Sev, but Lia made me and the others promise not to say anything to you. She told us she didn't want to worry you or give you any excuse to treat them poorly".

Tom turns to Severus, "He has a point, Sev".

Severus sighs, "Ok. Maybe I would be a bit more harsh on Granger, but you can't really blame me if I did. If someone is making my little girl miserable, I'm going to make sure something is done about it".

Before the conversation continues, they are interrupted by Lilith making a groaning noise into Tom's chest. Tom laughs quietly as Lilith slowly opens her eyes.

"Why don't we pick this up another time? We're here for the holidays so let's focus on that. Christmas is tomorrow so Draco, why don't you and Lilith go upstairs to rest, while me and Severus start setting up for when your parents arrive in the morning?".

He nods and grabs Lilith's hand, pulling her off the couch. He starts leading her upstairs towards their bedrooms. He gets her situated in her own room, before getting up to leave to his own room, a couple doors down. He feels a tug on his hand and looks down at Lilith lying on her bed.

He smiles and leans down, "Yes?".

She groans and opens one eye, "Sleep...here".

He laughs quietly, "Alright. Let me go change, I'll be a second".

He quickly goes to his room to change into something more comfortable before going back to Lilith's room. When he gets back, he sees Lilith has fallen asleep without him. He figured she must have been really tired. He climbs into the bed behind her. She seemed to notice his presence and turned around in her sleep. He wraps his arms around her and leans his head on hers. The two just relaxing together before Christmas the next day.
