As they both talked for some minutes about here and there, Chavi saw how Siddhant was observing her closely. As if he looked away, she will disappear into air.

"You know you don't need to pay attention to me like you are a student and I'm a subject of observation or something." She said in a bored tone while heading towards the kitchen to keep the mug.

"Well, you are a subject of interest to me, you know, Mrs. Sharma." Siddhant replied in a flirtous tone. At this she rolled her eyes and Siddhant ended up laughing.

"You do realise how cheesy it was, right?" She asked visibly cringing.

"It was cute!" He opposed.

And just like that their banter of words started.

"If you think this was cute then Mr. Sharma, I think you need to grow up. Have some sense of humanism and then come talk to me. So now go, shoo, have some bournvita." She said and smirked at him.

While he just started at her dumbfounded. Sure he knew how fierce his wife was but it still affected him after all these months. In a good way though.

"Well then, dear wife, I guess you need to know how 'grown up' I am. I swear I would make you realise it so good myself, once you come back home." He replied in a husky tone and saw the change in Chavi's expressions.

Her smirk turned into wide eyes and she starred at him blankly, understanding the meaning behind his words.

"You..such a pervert you are." She said flustered and looked anywhere but him.

"Why thank you." He smiled looking amused at this behaviour of hers. Guess, he'll be teasing her more now just for her reactions.

"I need to sleep now. Good night." She said suddenly, her cheeks and neck red. It made him feel things too but deciding not to push it further he nodded his head.

"Good night wife." And the call ended.

A few days passed in the blink of an eye and it was now the day of Chavi's first day at the Singapore branch of the company she's working in.

Well dressed in a blue satin formal shirt and white formal pants with her black Louboutins, she was all ready to go. She looked the perfect combination of classy and professional.

She clicked a few pics at home and sent on the family group. Within half an hour, everyone had replied on her pic as 'gorgeous', 'go my girl' etc. She smiled as she went thru the messages on the way to the workplace and replied. But she frowned when she realised one person hasn't replied on her pic yet.

It's no other than her husband. Tho the message had blue tick, she knew he had seen it.

However, not giving it much though, she made her way inside the company and started with her day.

With all the greetings and start meetings, to all the project discussions, she didn't even realise when her first day at work ended. It sure was tiring but it was exciting at the same time.

After she came back home, which she travelled with none other than Vivian, she made her way towards the glass packed balcony. Though she still feared heights, she can sit in the balcony since it was glass packed.

She sat there and sipped on her coffee at ten in night, when her phone rang. It was Aisha.

"Hi maa. How're you?" She answered. It was a normal call so she didn't alter her appearance. She was wearing a sports bra and joggers, since she was alone at home.

"Hello dear, I'm fine how are you? How was your first day at work?" Her mother in law's sweet voice reached her ears and she smiled at her concern.

"I am fine too maa. And my day went outstanding. Everything at work is so good and so are the people there." She replied and carried on looking at the view of Singapore from her floor.

"That's great. I'm glad it's all food. You know Rashita came to visit us today." She informed about Chavi's mother's arrival. And Chavi stood straight in her chair.

"What happened?" She asked curiously.

"Nothing, Rashita, Amita bhabhi and I went to hang out at mall. That's why." Aisha told her and she laughed out loud. It's true. Her mother and mother in law have always been close. And now after this wedding, they have gotten more close.

"That's great maa. You guys should take such breaks from ghar ke kaam." She said with a smile.

"Yea yea, we oldies do enjoy life our way. But what about you? Did you enjoy these days exploring Singapore?" She asked and Chavi sighed.

She hadn't gotten out of the flat on these days except for essential item shopping. She had many things to do that she didn't got time.

"No maa. Not yet. Itna kaam aa gaya tha na. But don't worry. I'll soon and then send you pics." She said and Aisha smiled at her words.

"Yes that would be good. And wese bhi you'll soon have someone to click pics for you with you too na." She blurted out before realising her blunder.

"What?" Chavi asked.
