the first time i saw her she was shouting.
not screaming
more like calm reprimandinga strong voice
bright eyes
green like the ocean
glistening in the sun.
it almost brought a smile to my facebut i stopped myself before that could happen.
i'm not the girl who smiles.
i'm the girl who says nothing and keeps to herself
who holds dark secrets that no one cares to seek out.
that's who i was to them.
i wondered if she would think the same.
