"hey! good to see you again!" lesley smiles at the familiar customer that frequented at the café, "the usual?"

the customer adjusted his suit and nodded with a smile, "how are you so cheery every day?" he laughed.

lesley beamed as she keyed in his order and took his payment, "there's something in every day to be happy about. i'll get your order for you."

the customer thanked her gratefully as he stood by the side of the counter, watching as she skillfully operated the machine, preparing him his usual order of iced americano, two blueberry scones and white macadamia chip cookies.

she scribbled a quick 'have a nice day' on the paper bag she placed his scones and cookies in before passing it to him with the usual smile she has.

she jogs back to the counter when she spotted a figure standing there.

as she was placing some coins in, she asked for his order, "hi, how may i help you?"

"can i have a cappuccino and your number?"

frowning, her head shot up, only to see someone she was waiting for, for dinner that evening.

"you already have my damn number, seongwoo," she rolled her eyes playfully, "what method of payment?"

"how does a hug sound?" he winked.

lesley fought the urge to have her eyes roll all the way back to her head as she hit his forehead lightly, "give me your darn money."

seongwoo chuckles as he reached out for his wallet and paid for his drink, taking a seat by the side, watching her prepare his drink.

it felt surreal to him, being together with a girl he loves so much for six months. as cliché and uninteresting to hear, it was definitely the best six months of his life.

they learnt so much more about each other and he can confidently say that the old cold and savage lesley has pretty much opened up to him.

well, maybe the savage was still pretty evidently around.

they practised the same routine every day, probably just texting each how their day went and probably ranting about some classmate they're angry with. if seongwoo had the afternoon to himself, he never fails to make a trip down to the café to accompany his girlfriend.

on the weekends, they would either watch a movie, sleepover at his place or just lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling.

homebodies.

if they felt a bit fancier, maybe they would bring a blanket to the nearby park and enjoy a quiet night just snacking on some home-baked cookies and stare at the night sky. or just watch some series on seongwoo's backup ipad, certain that they would get bored soon enough.

they weren't the type to do big things to show off their relationship and they were totally fine with it.

he loves her and that was enough for him.

despite the much brought about laughter and precious memories, he sometimes does wonder if she does like him.

but even if she did like him, did she love someone else?

someone else who's just as dear to him.
