*Hayley's POV*

Taylor continued to keep our destination a secret, even though I was incessantly begging him to tell me where we were going. By the tenth time I asked, Taylor just chuckled, giving up on repeating that where we were going was a secret.

We walked for a long time, passing malls, restaurants, and car dealerships. I couldn't imagine what Taylor was looking for, but I was in the mood for some food. Finally we stopped in front of the fanciest restaurant in town.

"We're here." Taylor said, looking down at me with his giant smile. I couldn't help but smile back when he grabbed my hand.

"Yes, food. I'm starving. But I feel underdressed." I said, looking down at my, well Taylor's, black t-shirt and white denim shorts. Taylor looked a little more prepared for the event, with a light gray polo shirt and a pair of black jeans. Even his hair was cleaned up more than usual.

"You're beautiful." Taylor said, squeezing my hand gently. I couldn't help but blush. He knew all the right things to say, at the right time.

Taylor held the door open for me, and my jaw dropped the moment I saw the inside of the building. The lighting in the place resembled a million candles, making the place look even more romantic. There were a bunch of tables spread out far enough apart so that guests wouldn't disturb one another, and each table held its own set of candles in the middle.

Taylor talked to the hostess while I just stood with my mouth open staring at the decor. After he was finished, he turned to me and held my jaw closed giggling to himself.

"Taylor, this place. It's amazing. It's truly amazing." I said, unable to find another word to describe how the place looked.

"Not as amazing as you are." He said, leaning in to kiss me.

We were seated quickly at a table in the far corner. The place was busy, but somehow this area was not. Taylor pulled my chair out for me and sat down himself across from me with a giant smile on his face. The hostess handed us each a menu and left.

"Pick whatever you want. Please don't worry about the price of any of it. This new job I got pays pretty well." He said seriously, winking at the end.

The prices were pretty high, and I knew he was lying about how well the job paid, but I always wanted to try a $50 steak. Apparently Taylor wanted to know how well it would taste too, and ordered the same thing as me when the waiter came.

We ate in silence, abeit giggling occasionally. We ordered an slice of chocolate cake to split for dessert, but most of it ended up on each others' face. Taylor started the incident by tapping my nose with chocolate icing, and I retaliated by smashing some of the cake on his cheek. We laughed so hard, a waitress had to come over and complain to us.

Once we finished eating what was left of the cake, we headed back to the bus. It was a long walk, but this time it was full of kisses, a piggy back ride, and singing.

I started it by singing My Heart, which was written about Taylor when we were first dating. It made it onto All We Know is Falling because I threatened to leave the band if it wasn't on there. Taylor joined in, with his barritone voice, making me fall in love with him even more. He had such a beautiful voice, but he was too shy to sing in public.

We finally made it back to the bus a half hour after we left the restaruant. Both exhausted, we changed into our pajamas and crawled into our bunks across from each other. I was too excited from the events of the night to sleep in my own bed, so I quietly crawled into Taylor's.

"Hey babe." Taylor said, kissing me on the cheek.

"Hey cutie." I said, kissing his cheek back.

We snuggled close together, and Taylor started whispering the lyrics to My Heart. I couldn't help but sing along with a smile on my face. The perfect ending to an amazing night.
