When I was in fourth grade I only had two friends. I was the new girl and was very different from the rest. One of my friends betrayed our friendship because she wanted to be with the popular crowd and didn't want to be teased anymore or a loser as she called it. Years later in high school she confronts only me again, cause my other friend left to the states and never contacted me since. She said she was lonely and sorry, because turns out those other girls were messing with her and talked bad about her all the time. She wanted to be friends again and I decided to forgive her since it was just some stupid thing she did when we were in fourth grade. We didn't become close again and that's fine. I'm more than 25+ now and believe she finally made real friends and that's she's happy.
