HEAVEN's POV
I woke up at the sound of Mykel's phone alarm and him moving to turn it off and quiet it down.
"I'm sorry, baby," he said, kissing me on the forehead.
"What time is it?" I asked, still in a daze.
"Five. I'm sorry for waking you up. I'd like to stay but I need to go take a quick shower now."
I hugged him tighter, savored his smell and his warmth, listened to the sound of his heartbeat and breathing, before letting him go. "Wake me up before you go, okay?"
He kissed me on the lips instead of replying.
I went back to sleeping after he got off the bed. I was about to, but,
"Wear this first, baby. You'll get cold sleeping like that." Binuhat niya ako paupo, tapos parang batang sinuotan ng pang-itaas. It's his shirt not mine. I can recognize it kahit nakapikit dahil sa amoy. It smells like him.
Inihiga na niya ako ulit.
Pagkatapos, binti ko naman ang hinawakan niya. Sinuotan niya ako ng medyas. I can't sleep well without socks on. Nakakatulog lang ako nang komportable nang walang suot no'n kung katabi ko siya. Pag wala siya, I can't. Magigising at magigising ako. The only time I sleep without socks on is when he's with me...
"Thank you, baby," I told him. Hinalikan niya ako sa noo. Hinigit ko siya palapit at niyakap. Hinalikan sa labi.
"Sorry I couldn't cook you breakfast. Make sure to eat later, okay?"
Tumango lang ako bago tuluyang sumurender sa comfort na dala ng mainit at malambot na comforter.
I told him to wake me up before leaving but Mykel didn't. Nang magising ako, medyo maliwanag na. Wala na siya. Knowing him, he might have told me 'alis na 'ko baby' before going pero in the lowest possible voice para hindi ako magising.
I got off the bed.
I went straight sa may bintana and opened up the curtain, letting the sun in. It's 8:30 AM. The weather outside seems nice.
Pumasok ako sa cr. I peed. Washed my face and did my morning skin routine. Brushed my teeth and gargled as well. Brushed my hair too, tied it in a ponytail.
After making my bed, lumabas na ako ng kwarto. I saw the boys are already waiting. They started wagging their tails happily the moment they saw me. They're always so energetic in the morning. I used to be like them when I was a kid, but now... everything is a pain. I hate moving. But I still move anyways. I have to.
