CHAPTER 33- A Night Full of Stars (Part 1)
MIKA's POV
"Guys may good news at bad news ako para sa inyo ngayong umaga. So anong gusto niyong mauna? Good news or bad news?" tanong ni Teacher Ven pagpasok na pagpasok n'ya sa loob ng room.
Mas marami yung sumagot ng, "Bad news!".
"Dahil mas marami ang may gusto na bad news ang unahin ko... uunahin kong sabihin yung good news bwahaha," sabi ni Teacher Ven na may kasamang pang-asar na tawa.
"Teacher Ven talaga oh!" sigaw nung iba kong kaklase, natawa na lang si Teacher Ven. Hobby n'ya na talagang asarin kaming mga studyante n'ya. That's cool though, I mean para sa isang teacher.
"So okay, back to the topic, the good news guys is.... drum roll please!" Pagsigaw ni Teacher Ven n'yan, sinimulan naming pukpukin yung desk namin as if we're hitting a drum.
Noong itaas ni Teacher Ven yung kamay n'ya meaning "stop", doon lang kami tumigil.
"Simula ngayong araw until next week, you don't have to attend any of your music subjects. Meaning for 2 weeks, you only have to go to school for your academic subjects! How awesome is that?!"
"So Teacher Ven ibig sabihin, para sa mga araw na alloted for music subjects, we can do whatever we want?" tanong nung isa kong boy classmate.
"Yes that's right. You're free to do whatever you want on those days, it's like an instant sembreak honey."
Pagkatapos sabihin yun ni Teacher Ven, we all shouted "Yes", yung iba napasuntok pa sa hangin dahil sa tuwa, habang yung boy classmate ko namang nagtanong kanina, tulala at para bang pinana ni Kupido.
"Sh*t dude, tinawag n'ya akong honey," sabi n'ya dun sa katabi n'ya.
"Dude, may asawa na si Teacher Ven."
"Exactly, and that only made her even hotter," sabi nito, looking totally smitten. His friend just ignored him. I just ignored him too, and kind of took pity on him a little bit. Wala kasi s'yang pag-asa kay Teacher Ven, bukod sa studyante s'ya, super gwapo kaya ni Teacher Tommy! Yung asawa ni Teacher Ven na sa second semester pa namin magiging teacher.
"Okay guys quiet! Now here's the bad news.... drum roll please!" sigaw ni Teacher Ven, pero wala sa aming pumukpok sa desk.
"O..kay, I'll just pretend may narinig akong drum rolls. Well anyway, the bad news is..." Lumapit si Teacher Ven sa whiteboard and she started writing something there.
"P R E L I M I N A RY E X A M S"
"Yes, you read it right people. Preliminary exams! I'm here to inform you that after 2 weeks of letting you do what ever you want... you'll then be facing... well... hell."
Lahat ng kaklase ko, pagkatapos nung huling salitang sinabi ni Teacher Ven, they all had this troubled and pressured look on their faces... while I on the other hand....
"Mika, malaking ngiti ba yang nakikita ko sa mukha mo?" tanong sa akin ni Rocket. "Narinig mo ba yung sinabi n'ya? She said, we'll be facing hell."
"Exactly."
"Huh?"
"She said I'll be facing hell... you know, Hell yung pangalan nung crush ko, so medyo kinilig ako kasi it sounded like, I'll be facing him hehe."
