Chapter 41: I See Life In You

Hey guys sorry for taking forever to update and I know some of you want me to update at least once a week and I'm sorry for that but I need you guys to understand that I won't be able to update as much as I used to. Second semester just started at school and I need to keep my grades up and I apologize that I won't be getting the chapters in as quickly

But I will promise that I'm not going to stop writing the story even though it seems like I am because the updates take like almost 2 weeks. The story is almost over though--just a few more chapters I think--and I can promise you guys that I will finish this story :) so please don't get mad if I take forever to update I'm doing the best I can

Zayn's POV

A gasp escaped through my dry lips as I spasmed violently on whatever surface held me. I could hear voices faintly, and feel the way the movements around me grew wild. I couldn’t see, though, because I was still blinded. It was driving me mad. I could feel my burning, ice cold body spasm again, shocking me into a frozen state. My body slumped over in sudden exhaustion, my eyes heavy and falling slowly.

“We’re losing him!” I heard a distant shout. I didn’t care, though. All I wanted was to succumb back into the darkness; to rest.

“Zayn!” was the last thing I heard.

And then nothing.

My chest burned. My eyes were heavy. I couldn't breathe, couldn't hear past the white noise ringing in my ears, couldn't see merely because of the fact that I didn't want to. I didn't want to believe it.
