"Shh, Niall. It's alright. He was no one, love. Don't worry about him. I promise that I won't let him hurt you, Danielle, or any of the other lads, okay?" I whispered back, lowering my mouth to kiss his temple. Niall was quiet for a moment before I heard him sigh and snuggle closer to me. If that was possible.
"I love you, Liam. I just...don't want anything bad to happen." He murmured so softly that I almost didn't hear him. I shook my head and rubbed his arm.
"I love you, too. And nothing will happen, love. I promise." I told him, meaning every word.
If only I realized just how naive I really sounded.
