(time skip) — a few days after
after getting encouraged by eunseung for the 5th time, I finally decided on joining the talent show audition.
flashback
"fine! I'll do it, but on one condition" I said, as eunseung waited for me to continue.
"I'll be choosing the song, and you'll be performing with me" I said, as he laughed.
"yah! I'm serious" I said, as I tried to throw a punch at him.
"fine fine! that's a deal" he said.
"I'll blame you if something embarrassing happens" I said.
"what?? yah! I was just trying to help you, why do you have to blame me!" he shouted, as I laughed.
"dude I was joking chill" I said, as he playfully rolled his eyes at me.
end of flashback
after looking for a song that sounds perfect to perform, I chose to sing 'celebrity" by IU.
eunseung was fine with it, since it kinda fits his singing style. he'll be using the guitar for support.
but, imma tell ya..
I was freaking nervous.
like really.
though we practiced enough and I'm sure we're going to do great.. but my heart is pacing like crazy.
we were currently heading to the theatre, where the talent show will be held.
while walking, we met soo-ah, tae-hoon and hyun-gyu.
"ohh y/n? eunseung? are you going to perform too?" tae-hoon asked, as I nodded.
"woahh jinjja?" hyun-gyu asked amazed.
"it's surprising, but ju-kyung will be performing too" soo-ah said, as I blinked in shocked.
"really?" I asked, as they nodded.
I looked around, but can't spot ju-kyung anywhere.
"where is she?" I asked.
"we don't know, but I'll be waiting for her.. you guys go ahead" soo-ah said, as I smiled.
"alright.. let's go?" I asked eunseung, as he nodded.
"goodluck guys!! fighting!" soo-ah shouted, as we waved at her.
while waiting for our turn, eunseung noticed how I kept walking back and forth.
"nervous?" he asked, as I looked at him.
"a-ani" I lied.
"stop lying, you're pacing around like an idiot" he said laughing.
"okay fine you got me" I said as I stood beside him.
"aren't you nervous?" I asked
"I mean yeah I am and I'm sure the others are too" he said as he looked at the students infront of us.
"it's normal, so just enjoy performing and I'm sure we're going to nail it" he said, as I smiled.
"do it for seyeon" he added, as my eyes softened.
