It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Everything is okay between Leonardo and I.
He's not distant or upset about the situation.
He's quite the opposite actually. As we sit on the couch watching a show together, I'm practically on his lap. His head rests on my shoulder while his arms lay lazily around my waist.
I tried to tell him that my brothers were home and maybe we should cool down on the PDA and to that he told me "if I want to hold my girl I'm holding my damn girl. I don't give a fuck who's watching."
Such a sweetheart.
"This show is awful." Leonardo mumbles. "I know." I reply. "Then why the fuck are we still watching it?" With a laugh I respond, "I thought you liked it."
"Why the hell would I like stock market reports?" Leonardo ask, reacting for the remote. I shrug, "you tell me."
There's three loud knocks on the front door before a half asleep Nick comes flying down the stairs. "I got it!"
Looking at my boyfriend I laugh at his unamused expression.
Sure enough when I lean forward I see a smiling Enzo walking into the house. He presses his lips to Nicks before they make their way towards the living room.
"Hey lovebirds!" Enzo says walking over and ruffling Leonardo's hair. Leonardo grumbles a string of curse words before Enzo continues. "What are we watching?"
"We?" Leonardo groans. Enzo takes a seat by an amused Nick. "Yes we, think of it as your first extravagant double date."
I look up at Leonardo, "be nice." He looks at me, then Enzo, the me again before tossing the remote over to Enzo. "Put something good on."
With a triumphant look on his face Enzo asks me, "are you sure you don't wanna pick Izzy?"
"We've spent the last hour watching stock reports. I don't think I can be trusted with the remote right now."
Enzo laughs as he opens Hulu and scrolls through the 'reality tv' section. I hear Leonardo let out a quiet groan.
The differences between Leonardo and Enzo are comical. Enzo's shorter with blonde hair and radiates positivity where Leonardo is easily over six foot with dark brown hair and simply could not be bothered.
"If we start making out they'll leave." Leonardo whispers in my ear, his voice low. I look at him smiling, "I'm sure we'll survive."
