Another Girl

I wish people would realise how much they actually mean to people, you know?

To you,

I might just be another girl,

But to me,

You aren’t just another boy,

You’re so much more,

More than I could ever imagine,

You’d care,

You’d hold me close,

Tell me “everything’s going to be alright”,

When we both knew it wouldn’t be,

You’d never let anyone hurt me,

You’d protect me,

You made me feel safe,

Secure,

I’d tell you everything,

You’d tell me everything,

But lately something’s changed,

We’ve changed,

We’re not like that anymore,

I don’t know why,

But I miss that trust, support, care, security, protection, opening up,

But I just miss you...
