I would just fall

No matter how hard you try, it's never enough. No matter how hard you push yourself to be that someone they want you to be, it's still not enough.

I’m not superwoman,

No,

I’m not ready to fly,

Spread my wings out wide,

I’m meant to be perfect,

Mean to be worth it,

But at the moment,

I’m lost in time,

‘Cos nothing I do is ever enough,

And nothing I say will make you proud,

So if I spread my wings,

Get ready to fly,

Jump up high,

And reach for the sky,

I’m not going to fly,

I’m just going to fall,

Fall from you,

Away from you,

Away life,

Away from here,

I just want to get right out of here,

‘Cos I’m not perfect,

I’m not the person you want me,

To be,

 I try my best,

To fit your description,

But in the end I never pass,

The test,

But I’m sick and tired,

Of all of this,

Me not being enough for you,

Breaks my heart,

It tears me apart,

So now,

I’m not changing,

No,

I’m not changing,

For you,

Or for anyone,

I’m staying myself,

Because that’s the way it’s meant to be,

And if you don’t like that,

Then you better say goodbye to me.
