Waiting

Waiting for someone to change their mind, realise why, let you give an explanation becaue you really thought that yothey were better than that and you could trust them, then realising what a waste of time. Also, I wrote this as a song, so some parts are repeatitive.

One day you'll see,

Than not everything's as it seems,

Maybe this is not the real me?

I wish that I was that person you "know"

But deep down I'm not, and I know that's it all a dream,

That's all it'll ever be,

Oh, I wait here inside,

For you to come around,

But I know that you won't be my side,

I wish that you'd found me,

Put your arms around me,

Told me everything would be "ok",

I know that's not the case,

But I'll wait for you,

I know you found out,

The last day that I saw you,

You couldn't look me in the eye,

I needed you to,

But I know you found it too hard,

I wish you were still around,

Oh, I waited for you,

For you to comearound,

Now I know that you never are,

I wish that you'd found me,

Put your arms around me,

Told me everything would be "ok",,

I know that's not the case,

I would have waited even longer now,

But I haven't seen you since,

That day that you found out about me,

I wish I had the chance to have convinced you,

To explain everything I went through,

But I guess that person was too much for you,

You saw the real "me",

But I wish you never had seen,

So, I'll walk away,

Leave my past at the door,

Say goodbye to everything,

I won't be around anymore,

What's left for me here anyway?

Oh, I wasted my life,

Waiting for you,

When I knew that you wouldn't come around,

I knew you never would,

That whole time that I waited,

But I still had hope,

That's all over now.
